    This is why I hated NY for the 3 years I was there. I'm from Chicago, most bars close at 2pm, some 3 and the ones at 4, you really don't want to go to anyway.

    When my new NYC friends tried to convince me NY was better, they'd say "HEY OUR BARS DON'T CLOSE 'TIL 5!" "OH THAT'S AWESOME WHEN ARE WE GOING OUT?" "1AM" "Oh...wait...what the fuck? You guys are just shifting time. You know classes and work still start at the same goddamn time in the morning?" It was stupid to get dressed, and sit around doing nothing until 11:30 when we'd start pregaming. Few times I didn't make it out because I went Midwestern on their asses and started drinking at 6-7pm...like real Americans.

    That's not really true though. Unless you work on Wall Street and need to make the markets opening, mornings in NYC are shifted later too. I work a fairly stuffy corporate job, and no one says boo when I roll in at 10 most days. Gives me time to wake up, nurse my hangover, etc.


    Semi-related, if I had to choose between going without sex and coffee I honestly don't know what I'd do. I mean, sex more exciting, but I drink coffee a shit load more often that I have sex. And boy do I love coffee.

    There was a girl my freshman year of high school who had the most pronounced ass dimples I have seen to this day. She was hot yet trashy enough to wear the kind of clothing which exposed them constantly. She of course was hounded relentlessly and called "Thumb Prints" until at least junior year.

    *Edit to say that's not her but I doubt any other photo I could find would more accurately capture her essence. Ahhh memories.
