I drank a lot of bourbon last night. There's a reason I haven't bought any of that shit in a year or so. I had something that needed attending to last night and the whiskey pretty well killed that.

Ah, well. Sadly, I think bourbon now has to sit on the shelf, along with gin, in the "never fucking again" section.

Two hangovers in two weekends. This is a trend that cannot continue.

My phone has 9 videos that the groomsmen took where they were just humping things to feel their sporrans swinging. Christ.

While I do enjoy a good Double Jeopardy, I have to disagree that it's the best of all Jeopardies. Final Jeopardy is the clear winner.

Final Jeopardy is one question accompanied by that awesome song.

Double Jeopardy is the shit. That's when the prayers and the vitamins come in handy.

    Time for breafast. BOOMTOASTED!!!!!

Ever notice that the last few bars of the "Final Jeopardy" theme song are, in fact, the last few bars of "I'm a Little Teapot"?

Ever notice that it's not possible to watch Jeopardy without imaging Sean Connery calling Trebeck a Dago or saying foul things about his mother?

Final Jeopardy is the introduction of a category and then a commercial break, giving you a chance to go pee and wonder whether the question will be a straight forward question in that category, or something out of left field, and you get all the strategizing about how much to wager.

And that's all before the question is even revealed.

Last night on my way to bar that was showing the UFC, I stopped and picked up a few single bottles of cider. Angry Orchard Apple Ginger Cider was pretty tasty. Also I finally found a bottle of the Woodchuck Pumpkin Cider. That just leaves their Barrel Reserve as the last flavor I've yet to try.

To complete my cider fascination for the week, I'm doing the responsible New England fall activity of apple picking later on today that will find it's way into a batch of homemade cider.

You know what? I have never given a shit about Final Jeopardy. It was just another category to me. If one wasn't familiar with the subject, don't bet heavily on it.

I have also learned I know shit-all about Middle Eastern and SE Asian geography.

Recipe? Link? I am interested in your news letter and wish to subscribe.

I've also wanted to make Cherry Bounce for two winters now, but never got around to it.

    <a class="postlink" href="http://www.gourmet.com/recipes/1960s/1966/08/cherry-bounce" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.gourmet.com/recipes/1960s/19 ... rry-bounce</a>

Cherry pits and cherry syrup laden whiskey cordial. I've actually got a bottle of Juicy Juice sitting around because it's the closest thing I could find to cherry juice without corn syrup.

I'm kind of a sporadic user of this forum but have been following since the TMMB. Last night I was quite bored and got up in the skype party; it boiled down to just me and hotwheelz. Then this happened:

Wait, I thought MoreCowbell was the rich one? Is he in fact the pretty one?

Also, she has a weird face. I would say pass, but it's not that serious. Let's just say that blonde would be far down on the list of people on this thread I would go for.
