I don't. People are beginning to realize how worthless Andy Reid really is.

No, I think people figured out Michael Vick. His skills are amazing, but the one thing he can't do is handle blitzes. The reason he adapted the ability to run so well is because, when under pressure, he couldn't make any reads, so he just took off. Teams have learned to just blitz the shit out of him, which causes him to panic and either take off running or make bad reads. It doesn't help that his offensive line is so bad.

On top of that, their defense is not nearly as good as people thought it would be, and Nnamdi isn't nearly as good as they thought he was going to be in a new system. Their pass defense was supposed to completely shut down everyone, but instead teams started running it up and down the field on them, which resulted in them concentrating on stopping the run and leaving their CBs alone to cover, and that will almost ALWAYS result in the CB getting burnt, as the rules in the NFL favor the passers and the receivers.

At the end of the day, the Eagles are the Miami Heat of Football. A team of flashy players with a really poor supporting cast, who don't know how to work together to minimize their weaknesses.

Check the rant and rave thread. Wife is in a pissy mood and already crapped on me for drinking today. Now I am hiding in the basement and trying to avoid fighting with her, cause seriously, fuck my day.

Plus, you know, football. I am a geek about everything, football included.

If you're hiding in the basement, she won't know that you're drinking.

Really easy cider recipe, but it takes awhile to get it to taste good. If you want a cider you can drink quickly, go to the store and buy some. This recipe takes about 3 weeks for fermentation and about 6 months - 1 year bottled to clear out and taste good. Drinking it before that is fine, it's not going to kill you, but it just won't taste very good.

I juice my own apples and use this blend.
    50lbs Granny Smith
    10lbs Honeycrisp
    10lbs McIntosh
If you don't want to juice your own apples which is a bit of a pain, just get apple cider from your local orchard or grocery store. Just make sure it is all natural. No preservatives or anything else in there.
The above apples should produce about 5 gallons of cider.

    5 gal cider
    5lbs of brown sugar(dark)
    Wyeast's Cider yeast

I heat up, NOT BOIL!!!!, 1 gallon of cider and dissolve the sugar in it. Let it cool down to about 80 degrees and then I add it to my carboy with the other 4 gallons. Slosh it around for about 2-3 minutes so it all mixes together well. Add your yeast, mix it up, put on your air lock and let it do it's thing for about 3 weeks. I usually put a little vodka into the airlock instead of sanitized water, but either will work just fine. Move it to your secondary carboy to let it clear up for another 2-3 weeks. After that, bottle it and let it sit for about 6 months.(you can realistically open a bottle after about 2-3 months, but I'd wait)
When you open a bottle, if it's not sweet enough, add a little splenda or stevia to the bottom of your glass before pouring the cider in to take away a bit of the dryness. After about a year your cider will be beyond delicious. This recipe and yeast combo shouldn't make it too dry, but home cider making isn't an exactly precise science.

If you want to add a little layer of safety, before you put the yeast into your batch, add some campden tablets to your cider to kill any wild yeast/bacteria. Let this sit for at least 48 hours so the flavor the campden tablets let off dissipates enough where it won't affect your final product. This step isn't needed, but it just adds a layer of protection so your cider doesn't get you sick/turn into vinegar.

Most important before doing any of this, make sure you sanitize all of your tools with a bleach/water mixture. Nothing will rot a good batch of cider worse than bacteria getting into your product because you didn't take 5 minutes to sanitize your stuff.

For additional recipes, use the above and just throw some other stuff into the mix. If you want to add raspberries throw them into the cider mix. If you want to add pear juice, throw it into the mix. Just make sure you keep the original 1 gal cider - 1lb sugar ratio. If you are adding extra sugar into the mix with other fruits or honey or what not, it's going to raise the alcohol content which in turn will make it take longer to settle nicely in the bottle. You want your alcohol content between 5-9%, anything higher and you'll have to push out drinking your cider to the 1-2yr mark before you will be able to take the taste.

Hope all that helps. I'd suggest looking into joining the Home Brew Forums if you are interested in home brewing. Really great resource and a helpful community.

There is no better way to get a wide ranging scope of what black people name their kids than watching football.

I'm planning to make my own once the weather cools back down again.

I made my own infused vodka for bloody maries. A couple tomatoes, a jalepeno, garlic, basil, rosemary, sage, black pepper corns. Couldn't get fresh horseradish :-(

It's pretty good though. I made it with some cheapish vodka, but the infusing takes the cheap burn out of it, you can basically drink it straight, though I plan to make Maries by just adding a splash of tomato juice and a dash of Worcestershire.

Now working on a recipe to make Smores Schnapps.

Minimal experience + no reference = Not getting a job

Alabama's kicking out all the illegals though, so there should be a lot of hiring.

Well another day on the books boys and girls. Now to smoke myself comatose in order to pass the time until Breaking Bad. It's a glamorous life, it really is.

I'm thinking this may not increase your likelihood of employment; you just don't strike me as the carpenter/dishwasher type. Maybe I shouldn't judge a book by it's cover though. Or maybe there are tons of migrant doc reviewers about to flee the area.

And yes, this is Kre-Kreayshawn dancing before you upon an elephant.

This was a good weekend. Bafana Bafana (S.A. national soccer team) failed to qualify for the African Cup Of Nations and the Boks lost in the quarter-final of the Rugby World Cup to Australia.

FUCK OFF PETER DE VILLIERS! Now the national team can get a decent coach. This is an even better article on him finally quitting the Springboks.

    That is all.
