Howard's not going anywhere. He'll say he's "exploring his options" but he'll stay. The Lakers can offer him 30 MILLION more than anyone else(Bird rights). Also, some this time next year, there will only be two players on the Lakers payroll: Howard(if he signs) and Steve Nash. They will literally build the entire team around him, making him the "man" of the franchise for easily the next 4-7 years(if not longer). Not to mention the fact that the Lakers are infamous for chasing titles every season. Where else is he going to get half of that? The most money(by far), an entire team built around him, and that team happens to be the Yankees of basketball. Again, he's not going anywhere.

Nice to see the Golden State Warriors move on to the second round. I just hope they can put in a good showing against the Spurs.

I don't know about you guys, but I'm sick and tired of Stephen Curry taking his cute little teams to unexpected wins. Seriously dude get over yourself. You're supposed to be weak, skinny, and bad at basketball. STOP DOMINATING GAMES! Ugh.

I can't believe the Chicago Bulls lost by 3 points with the roster they had, then Joe Johnson, who makes half a billion dollars has the nerves to say "It came down to the team that wanted it more." No you fucking piece of shit, it came down to the team that had more than 50% of its players healthy. I want the Bulls to throw the kitchen sink at the Nets now even though earlier I said "I rather lose to the Nets then get anally raped by the Heat." Now I'm pissed because a loss to the Heat is inevitable, but fuck the Nets if they really think they won because "they wanted it more."

Oh man with David Kahn out, Simmons just lost like 90% of his NBA jokes.

If only Derrick Rose wanted it as much as David Lee.

If it makes you feel better, Steph Curry has to go home to this every night:

    What, his terrible chin beard?

The thing with Curry, and I think it comes from him playing "PG", is he doesn't seem to force alot. His distribution the whole series was fantastic. When he's been off, he just hasn't been shooting much. Meanwhile, Klay Thompson had a terrible game and seemed to be pressing the issue a bit. But Curry has gotten to be like Durant in that when he pulls up for a critical jumper, you just assume its gonna drop.

Golden State doesn't have the defense to win the West, but man, offensively, when they are clicking, they are fun as hell to watch. I watched the second half of the game by myself last night and was popping straight up in my chair a few times. Entertaining stuff.

Nom, stop trolling Bulls fans. Derrick Rose is out by mandate, not by anything him, his team, or his crew is saying. They're subscribing to the 5% Theory this season, described by Zach Lowe on Grantland. Google/Bing it. Derrick Rose is perfectly fine, with the current roster plus Derrick Rose, they are the second best team in the league. Marco Bellinelli has been terrible these playoffs. Makes me miss Kyle Korver. To think how great it would have been to have Nate Robinson or Kirk Hinrich two years ago instead of Keith Bogans, and CJ Watson. That would have been a team to stop the Heat. Now this one, with Rose or without him.

Also Steph's Curry wife is a monster. Where did he find that troll? Under a bridge? Is that what that community college Davidson is putting out? That plucky little fucker.

I agree with Jwags. Its like you don't even expect him to miss 30 foot shots. They're just in and you're shocked when they're not.

David Lee tries to do what he can after a season ending hip injury. Meanwhile, on the Derrick Rose front...

And meanwhile now ESPN is saying Rose doesn't want to return because he doesn't have the muscle memory back. Are you fucking kidding?

Like I said. Don't pay attention to anything. They're going to throw out whatever reason they can. He's just not coming back until next year.

Maybe backetball is different than other sports, but how exactly are you supposed to get your muscle-memory back if you're not actually playing? If practice isn't enough what else is there than to just get out there and play? Like Kerr said, even 15-20 minutes would be a step in the right direction.

At the same time, Jalen Rose said this "You can't put in certain people in in small spurts. Watch Kobe Bryant next year. He'll have two games at his minute limit, after that he's going balls to the wall. Certain players have two settings, off and on. Once they're on, they're on. So you just can't play them in spurts."

Also, like I've been saying, all of that is bullshit. Noah isn't a dominant player, never been the highest scorer in an important game. That is also a completely different injury. His injury will heal fine over the summer. A re-injured ACL won't.

So he's supposed to live in fear because he "might" re-injure it? He might re-injure it walking down stairs. I normally don't like to criticize athletes because I know a little bit of the grind they put themselves through, but he's acting like a straight up bitch. Yeah, I said it. He a bitch doe. Go talk to Adrian Peterson about going balls to the wall on a repaired ACL.

Well this NBA season has been fun. Glad the Bulls have won their Championship. Sad the season ended tonight. I'm going to start watching the Blackhawks.

Hey, they still have a shot! I mean, at least the Bulls don't have to worry about Eli Manning.

Gonna be tough for them tonight. Lots of good players out:

Deng (spinal tap), Heinrich (calf), and Rose (sand in vagina).
