Larry Brown just took the job at SMU.

It's Orlando. There's no Jews in Orlando.

North Florida (N of Orlando) = rednecks

    Central Florida = tourists

East Coast S Florida = New York/New Jersey South

West Coast S Florida = midwest retirees.

I don't know if I believe that any of the teams left in the east can beat the Thunder or the Spurs the way they've been playing.

I think that Durant is on his way to passing Lebron as the best player in the league fairly soon. Lebron is too big, strong, and quick to guard, but Durant has that Kobe quality where you can guard him perfectly and he's still going to hit shots.

Keep in mind that absent any developments, we will likely see a reasonably healthy Heat team by the finals. So it'll be less like Game 3, more first round and Game 1.

Indiana is putting on a clinic on poor shot selection.

Playoff basketball is one thing, sending a message, whatever, Dexter Pittman was totally out of line in clotheslining Stephenson. He should be suspended a game, without question.

See kids? When someone makes fun of you, you should respond with violence. Even if you weren't actually the one taunted and especially if you can wait a week and hit them with a cheap shot when they aren't paying attention. Because that's what honor looks like in the hood, yo.

Udonis Haslem should have gotten an F2. Makes no sense why he didn't. Psycho T at least touched the ball. Who blocks the ball with a both arms swinging down like that so far from the rim? Come the fuck on. Coward call from the refs because they knew it'd swing the game. Ridiculous.

    Was he on the court?

Then he should have been paying attention.

I dont agree with it, but I understand it.

I absolutely agree. Haslem could have disguised it better, but the message was clear.

The Heat have been lacking that all year long. Its about time somebody stood up.

I am not talking about hard fouls, but how many foreheads need to be split open before it stops?

Game #6 could be a blood bath. Granger probably wont play, so it could be out of hand early.

I expect cheap CHEAP shots from the Pacers.

I don't know why you think Granger's absence portends for more nonsense. I would suggest the opposite. Granger has been the biggest instigator thus far. He's been acting like an immature asshole all series. I think part of it was a botched attempt at leadership ("Someone needs to show these prima donnas what's up, and I'll be the leader!"), but it's come across like a rowdy child.

Because I dont think they can be competitive without Granger.

Once they Heat go up by a lot, what is there left to do but start swinging?

Act like adults, which is what most of them have been doing the whole series.

You must not agree with Charles Barkeley. I do though. The Heat are a bunch of whining, prima donnas. LeBron is a notorious flopper, and every single breathe that touches their skin they want a foul. I'm glad Granger got in some faces, ruffled some feathers. I like it when basketball gets chippy. But they gotta call the F2s when they're F2s.

And as Stephen A Smith noted, the Pacers are a bunch of fake tough guys. Granger's tactics only work if 1 - Lebron loses his mind and retaliates or 2 - Granger comes close to putting up the production needed by a team's leading scorer, which he has not. And West can make all the bitter beer face he wants, he still takes more jumpers than post moves.

I like chippy. I dont like intentionally try to inure another teams best player(s) because your season is about over and you got nothing to do but try to prove to your homies that you aint no punk.

or S-O-F-T as your own GM puts it.

When has anyone on Indiana tried to intentionally injure anyone on Miami? Granger has been instigating and trying to get Lebron or D Wade to get themselves thrown out but I think the only person who has done anything with the intent to injure was Pittman. And Haslem should be suspended for game simply because there is no way that wasn't flagrant 2 so he should have to sit out something.

Whoa, let's not get out of pocket. I'm not a real pacers fan. Bird ain't my GM. But last time he did that, called out his team, they won a championship. You should be worried, because the two are obviously very strongly correlated.

Fuck, I want OKC to beat the Spurs, even though its very unlikely. A Spurs Heat finals will cause me to not enjoy the finals as much as I'd like.
