Every Chicago fan is scared as shit that Thibs is just a better version of Scott Skiles and not secretly a Phil, Pat or Gregg. We'll see.

So apparently LeBron wants his minutes reduced. Too bad they gave up Zeller, Wiggens, and Bennett to get Love then stocked the bench with a bunch of LeBron's buddies who can't play anymore.

    Also, ESPN's website is infuriating.

to continue with my bragging while the bragging is good. I would like to point out that the Golden State Warriors continue to lead the Pacific Division with an outstanding 12-2 mark. This includes a total of 8 road games and they are destroying the East Coast teams on this current road trip. Oh and their starting power forward David Lee is still injured and not suiting up.

Carry on with the pathetic East Coast basketball talk.

Regarding Thibs...yep. He's already running his starters (Gasol and Butler especially) huge minutes. It makes me a little anxious.

The Warriors are on some read and react shit I'm not comfortable with. Then again, they've played against a lot of the East and lost against the two teams they need to worry about, Clippers and Spurs, narrowly beating the Rockets. Not to mention, only beating Orlando by 1 point on 3 days rest. Nice streak to start off the year, but we'll see.

No mod ever comes into this thread. We could be talking about nazis, child porn, religion, the benefits of communism, and why Tucker Max should get more credit than Shakespeare. They wouldn't even notice.

Anyway, I was at the Toronto/Bulls game last night and it was fucking insane. For the first 3 quarters, every Bulls fan had their assholes tight enough to forge diamonds. Every single time we had a big play, they got a clean-easy shot off. Every single time the crowd started chanting defense, they got a quick layup.

Then the 4th quarter happened, Thibs figured out what line-up was going to work and Derrick Rose started feelin' himself. Looking like the old Derrick Rose. It was fucking great. Really wish people wouldn't chant MVP every time he's at the line, he was just out for two days, but it felt great to see it. Kinda feel shitty for Jimmy Butler who has played his ass off and still won't get any love...(until the fucking Knicks throw a disgusting poison pill contract at him).

This JR Smith, Dion Waiters, Iman Shumpert, Reggie Jackson trade is insane. That is the jump-shootin'-est combination of players I have ever seen.

Has there ever been a trade that makes all teams involved even worse?

The idea that OKC was giving up the best player in the trade and a first round pick was crazy. Now it looks like Jackson isn't in the deal, so I'd say the Thunder win the trade.

I'm not sure what Cleveland is doing. They now have only 3 bigs on the roster, and one of them is Brendan Haywood. They got a wing defender so that LeBron can go back to not playing defense, but now LeBron and Kyrie are the only competent ball-handlers in the rotation. I'm not sure if they used the Bogans exception in this trade, but they don't have much in the way of assets to bring anyone else in.

As a Bulls fan that first read up on the final-ish details on this trade after walking out of the United Center beating the Rockets...this trade makes me really happy. I'm really curious to see if the Cavs somehow try to make another move and who it is. LeBron has been injured more in this year, than he has been in the every single season combined.

Amazing what happens when your HGH hookups get taken out and you can't recover super fast from injuries anymore...

In other news, the Warriors are still so much fun, and Steph Curry is a BEAST. My love affair with Curry is well documented, I have a friend that refers to him as "your boyfriend" when he's playing well, but after performances like this, I don't give a damn.

Cleveland wins because JR and Shump are both way better than Dion Waiters. Admittedly, this is in part because everyone is way better than Dion Waiters. They could have traded him for a ham sandwich and won the trade. JR is absolutely insane, but is only a year and a half removed from a Sixth Man of the Year award.

Can we talk about how Corey Brewer has had a fucking rejuvenation on the Houston Rockets? During that Bulls game, I got worried every time he had the ball. Good for him. Also, Josh Smith wasn't terrible. Really interested to see how both of them perform.

Now I know by all sports sense that just because the Bulls beat the Rockets and the Rockets beat the Cavs...it means nothing. But emotionally, it feels good. I don't know if the Cavs are the looking threat. I'm eyeing the Hawks, Raptors, and possibly a much better by subtraction Pistons. Also, fuck the Wizards.

The Pistons are enjoying the "we FINALLY don't have to play with Smith anymore!" sense of euphoria, but it will die down eventually.

I don't think this gets said enough.
