That being said, as good as the Warriors/Spurs series will be, there should be a "first round bye" for some of these teams. Rockets and Grizzlies just don't stand a chance. It's pathetic. I mean I know they're still getting playoff experience, but fans of those teams I'm sure would much rather try their odds in the lottery.
Is it too early to be excited? Because I'm excited. This is the first time in a very, very, very long time I can remember that the Wolves have been making all the right moves.
I truly feel bad for the Grizzlies. They just have no one, and the guys they do have are still just so outmatched it isn't fair. Spurs go to the end of their bench and pull out Kevin Martin. Meanwhile Chris Andersen is one of the Grizzlies' best players. The NBA needs to institute the mercy rule for the playoffs. Once the outcome is basically decided, the injury risk is too high and there's no real entertainment value anymore.
Outscored the Rockets 41-20 in the quarter right after to salt the game away. Might have some worries in the next round.
Yeah I was really impressed by that, even though it's the Rockets and they always seem to have the ability to completely fold at any moment. Guessing Curry sits out the next game and gets as much healing as he can before round 2.
I'm more worried about a groin or hamstring injury with that than the knee. Just looks like he got a nice knee bruise from a quick tap on the hardwood, but that slide is what really concerns me. No bueno. Like I said earlier, I want the Spurs to kick the warriors' ass at full strength. Anything less than that just doesn't feel right. Get better Curry.
I was mostly watching Pens-Caps tonight instead of Thunder-Spurs, but based on the final score it looks like the Spurs just put a beatdown on the Thunder. They're like a machine.
It was even more of an ass whipping than the final score implies. OKC might not take a single game in that series.
Raptors are trying really hard to give this game away. The players have no idea what they're doing on offense. Edit: Luckily they get bailed out on a no-call push in the back and the Pacers not fouling right away.
Amazing how that series turned around. Wouldn't be surprised to see the Spurs take game 6 in OKC, but not if crunchtime offense is running exclusively through Parker. Leonard didn't get a touch the final 4 possessions last night.
It is on to the Western Division finals. You have your wish Revenge, Curry looks healthy. Umm, so are the Spurs going to win two in a row?
