Yeah... I think I may have to sit down and think through what I might need in the near future and stock up. I only know about the tires because that's all I've had to handle so far.
So anyone getting a bidet to avoid the next toilet paper shortage? I have a friend who works in logistics planning. He is the kind of guy that the crazier things get the more he just kind of laughs....he ain't laughing. Hoard em if you got em, I guess.
Yeah, I did that. It's not a fancy-pants bidet, but it's a hose connected to the water inlet for my toilet, which I think is even better, because you can direct the flow. I just decided that I'm buying a new set of tires for my car tomorrow. They're kind of an odd size (255/45r17), and I don't want to get stuck without one.
No prep drag racing is stupid and dangerous. Ever more stupid and dangerous when they do it somewhere without walls between the cars and spectators, like an airport. 2 children dead, 4 airlifted to a hospital. https://abcnews-go-com.cdn.ampproje...ors-texas-drag-racing-event/story?id=80750002
As the logistics Manager for a Machine shop; Can Confirm. J Deere is fucking up my life in ways I didn't know was possible.
So have any of you seen the press release for the new Z06 corvette? well it has bit more power then the previous one(lt4) with 650hp ... but brand new engine 5.5L naturally aspirated V8 with a flat planer crank doing 670hp. The most powerful natural aspirated V8 ever produced. I did not see that coming.
Eat shit, Germany. I'm really curious to see the internals of this engine, because it's supposed to have been released about ten years ago... "Next year" has always been GM's answer whenever the new model year rolls around.
Dual overhead cams, dual plenums, dual throttle bodies and a flat plane. My buddy at Milford says the rumor is the ZRI variant of this is around mid 900’s with a twin turbo set up.
Say what you will, but I would STILL love to see how it does up against my 4-door, 640HP AWD twin turbo Cayenne of a grocery getter. Power ain't worth fuck all if it just spins tires.
The standard Corvette does 0-60 in under 3 secs. I'll guess that the Z06 with it's wider rear tires hit it ~2.3-2.5
Not saying it wouldn’t win, just saying that my grocery getter does 0-60 in under 4. The one with 100hp less than mine does a real world 3.6s. Mine has a tune in it to make it much more aggressive.
Think the press release said somewhere in the 2.5s range. I am thinking they went NA for the Z06, because we are going to see a forced air induction of some sort for the ZR1 in a couple of years.
I just passed a Tesla with the license plate “YFILLUP.” i… you just…. That’s not how this works man. You literally have to recharge at a station, eerily similar to a gas station. And where does that electricity mainly come from? I’m so confused
That tells you everything you need to know about the mentality of the average Elon Musk fan-boy. I swear, if that guy sold bottles of his own piss, those retards would drink it.
With Lucid Air and Gravity hitting the market, that's going to keep Tesla on their toes, I would bet. That $169k price range is still pretty steep, though. However, this 5-minute recharge could be the game changer that the EV market needs. https://jalopnik.com/ford-and-purdue-made-a-cable-that-could-charge-an-ev-in-1848047225
