    Mass Effect 3!!

I love Mass Effect! both of them so far. I find when I replay the 1st one the elevator time drives me insane, but otherwise the whole game is wonderfully done and even after at least 4 times playing it, I can still play and enjoy it.
Number 2 is even better than the first. I play on xbox so I have had to download and pay for the expansions or extra quests, but I love it! especially the shadow broker mission. If you have mass effect and love it but haven't shelled out the money for the expansion... I recommend it! Honestly the storyline is just intense and if you add the shadowbroker mission you get to actually take him out and take control! and you get a whole new area to play in.
I have heard if you play ps3 its all included, which kind of makes me angry but what can you do! thats xbox and microsoft for you.
I am realllllllly excited for Mass Effect 3! I just want them to release it already!! Anyone know when its suppose to be out? I have heard March, but I heard xmas as well and that is what i'm hoping for! March is so far away.
I've already restarted my characters to play through the 1st and second so when the 3rd comes out I can import. For me, its the best game of all time!!

So I just got BF3 and it's pretty awesome, but I can't figure out how to customize my loadout as the Russians. I know I can do it from in the match, but is there anyway to get to it from the "My Soldier" option? It seems like that and not being able to drop in/drop out of multiplayer lobbies are 2 incredibly simple oversights, unless I'm missing something. Other than that minor gripe though, this multiplayer is so much more epic than what CoD has had to offer. Not that I don't like CoD, but battles in this are almost cinematic - Rush in particular seems to be full of awesome "yeah, I'll definitely dive off that cliff to parachute to the next objective while shooting and throwing grenades in mid air" moments.

Also, is it possible to win as the defenders in Rush? I've played about 3 hours so far and I don't think I've ever won a defense or lost an attack

The matchmaking is kind of broken but DICE said it will be fixed in the next patch that should come out soon. Check out Battlefield's Twitter feed. They are aware of a lot of the problems people are having. Don't know about the Russian loadout thing though. Seems kind of dumb they left that out.

It is very possible to win as defenders. It seems that there is usually an easy station, and a hard station to capture each series. If your whole team focuses on the hard one you can usually hold the attackers back. I've been having more problems attacking but that's mostly because my teammates suck. When I party up with a few friends and use teamwork eg. spotting enemies, calling out where they're coming from, synchronizing Stinger launches to defeat flares, we dominate.

Clarity, sit in bush, alpha strike, last hit, meditate, frustrate opponents into bad engagements, R + E, farm lane, win.

    I love Yi.

Not singling you out, but it seems to me everyone keeps making excuses for DICE releasing a buggy product. Half the stuff I hear about this game is "well there's major problem x, but they're going to fix it in a patch." If these problems existed in MW3 there would be riots in the street, but since it's Battlefield we're just supposed to accept that they might fix it in the future? Everyone wants BF3 to be the end-all CoD killer and it isn't.

Every CoD game has been buggy when it was released. Mw2 still is. Black Ops is so laggy it's almost unplayable. Not trying to start some bullshit CoD vs. Battlefield but at least there's feedback from DICE.

I really don't like it when people try to compare COD and BF; they're different types of shooters set up for different types of players. If you like shoot 'em up games then get COD, but if you like large maps and team-based strategy then get BF. To each his own (I'm personally going to purchase both), but stop labeling one or the other as a shitty game simply because it's not your type of shooter; that's pure fan-boy bullshit. BF is awesome in its own right, and I'm sure COD will be too.

Excuse me, I just have to interject that while we talk about CoD vs BF, anything made by Treyarch doesn't count. Only Infinity Ward. You may continue comparisons.

Anyone want a Batman Beyond NOS code for Arkham City? I've got a spare tab and will send the code (either PS3 or 360) to one person. PM me. First to PM gets it.

So if I rent BF3 and buy the online pass, would I be able to buy the game used and use the same pass? I'd think it would just be with my PSN but I haven't been able to find much about the pass and I trust you guys more anyway.

Yeah, the Online pass just activates your PSN. The disc doesn't matter. When you buy the new game you just get a redeem code on a card anyway.

For everyone who is playing Arkham City, today is Halloween and it seems if you go talk to Calendar Man today, something special will happen. Just a bit of a reminder.

There's a calendar on the wall next to his cell with all the special dates circled. You can get all of those by changing the date on your system.

I would also advise everyone that if you haven't finished the Azrael side quest, you need him to complete the "Play Catch" trophy, just find one of the spots he's stationed at but don't speak to him, just get far enough away and lob a remote controlled batarang at him.

Does anybody know anything about the software required to use an Xbox controller on a PC for gaming? I cannot decide to get Skyrim for Xbox or for PC and one of the main factors is how much more comfortable sitting in on the couch reclined with a controller is than sitting hunched over my PC for hours upon hours. Any advice on this subject would be appreciated. And while I'm at it, I'm also trying to figure out how to get my PC hooked up to my TV to play the game without sacrificing FPS, however that works.

Oh this is a big FUCK YOU to Dice/EA. FUCK YOU for not making your game compatible with the operating system that has something like 48percent of the market share(Windows XP). I bought it, never thinking that it would be a problem.
