About the 360 controller on the PC, I haven't used a wireless controller, but I do have a wired controller that I use on my PC and it was pretty much just plug it in and use it.

I'm definitely getting Skyrim on PC, for two reasons. First, with consoles starting to show their age and the fact that I have a fairly powerful gaming PC, I expect Skyrim to look far better on the PC. Second, and this being not nearly as big a deal, but you are probably going to see a fair amount of modding on the PC version (I say that because that has been the case on past Elder Scrolls games) which will extend the re-playability of the game even further beyond official DLC.

I haven't looked into how well a 360 controller will work with Skyrim on PC, but I know it was a seamless experience with Darksouls, so I imagine (and am hoping) that it will work well.

Yea it's 48%, but the majority is companies and businesses that own a site license that haven't expired. Hell, XP can even interpret more that 2 GB of RAM, which is the minimum for BF3. Plus, the specs are printed on the side of the box. Buyer beware.

I am pretty sure XP can do upto 3gigs of memory. I do understand that it is a 10year old OS, but i didn't think anyone would stop making games/software yet that wouldn't work on it.

The 32 bit version of XP can allocate up to 3.5 GB of RAM for applications to use, with .5 GB being allocated to video memory. The 64 bit version of XP has none of the limits. But Windows 7 is pretty rad, so upgrade to it, if only for DirectX 11.

X86 versions of windows XP (32 bit) are limited to 4 GB of physical memory. This limit is shared between system memory and graphics memory, so if you have a graphics card with 1GB memory, you can have 3 GB system memory. The 64 bit version of windows XP has a limit of 128 GB.

32 bit versions of windows 7 are available and have the same 4GB limit on physical memory. For the 64 bit versions of windows 7, the memory size is limited by version. Home basic gets 8 GB, Home Premium gets 16 GB, and Professional and up gets 192 GB.

Battlefield 3 Just went 0-0 with 3950 points playing Rush on Kharg island. Used the MAV (remote controlled UAV) and spotted every person and vehicle I could. My team wiped the floor with them. Earlier I went 1-5 with 4800 points by reviving people and dropping Med-Kits. Fuck I love this game. (Sorry wexton that sucks.)

Same. I went full on beast mode last night during a defense of the Canals last night and put up my highest number ever.

    58-38 with 33 ribbons, I felt like a god.

And what I love about Battlelog is proof.

I am pretty jazzed about GTAV. I wonder if theyve expanded the scope of the game enough to warrant a full fledged sequel. Shit San Andreas wasn't labeled as a true sequel but scope wise, not graphically of coarse, the biggest (and best in my mind) game. I think all they have to do is hit a mark between San Andreas and GTAIV game wise to have the perfect game. Honestly, GTAIV looked great and was fun it just wasn't as deep or fun over all as SA. Some of the fun elements were needlessly scaled back in IV. Tighten up the shooting and action controls and it'll be great. Another huge game. Can't wait.

Just watched that trailer, and all I can say is 'meh'. I just can't get into the GTA style games, and I tried pretty hard with GTA 4. I just got bored after a while and set it down and never went back to it, and I don't think I got even 4 hours into Red Dead Redemption. Never finished LA Noire either, although how similar you could say that game is to GTA is kind of up for grabs in my opinion.

From watching the trailer, the visuals look great, and I assume this game will have just as much polish and scale as 4...I'm just not interested.

Does anyone have a spare Diablo III Beta key that they would be willing to part with? A buddy of mine is pining after one and it would really make his day.

I also didn't like GTA IV or Red Dead Redemption, too much bullshit driving/riding around and talking for my taste. I don't need EVERY second to be action packed, but every time there was a mission that started with five minutes of bullshit I kept groaning "AGAIN?"

That said, I thought GTA San Andreas was awesome, I may be misremembering the action to story ratio, but it seemed much better, and I liked the RPG elements.

Anybody got Uncharted 3 yet? I reserved a copy at GameStop, haven't gotten around to picking it up yet.

It doesn't dissapoint. If you played the first two, you know what to expect.

On the other hand, the gameplay is identical. It'd be nice if Naughty Dog experimented a little, but I understand why they wouldn't.

I have some sort of reward code for some kind of perk on Uncharted 3 multi-player that I got for having played the multi-player beta. Does anyone want it? It's not username specific, is it?

The hand to hand has been tweaked, you can throw grenades back, the platforming is bigger and more crazy than before, the graphics are really, really fuckin good, and as usual, the story is amazing.

Oh Google, you never fail to amuse me.

If anyone remembers or has ever played Starfox on the N64, go to Google and type in "Do a barrel roll".

    Enjoy.
