Looking at the reviews and gameplay for Far Cry 3, I think I know which game aim trading AC3 for...

I don't know if this is the right place to post this, but playing this game in the dark with the sound up is pretty fucking scary. I'm REALLY stressed out but I keep playing anyways. You should probably check it out if you enjoy being terrified.

    Slender Game

Edit: Playing with the sound off is cheating.

Well, apparently, this is a thing that is happening:

Of course, what I am really excited about is the announcement of Dark Souls 2. Holy fuck I can't wait.

Fuck yes. Fix the clipping issues and give us stages as creepy as the Tower of Latria and you'll about have a perfect game.

The new BF3 map pack is pretty rad.

Seems like they nerfed the ever-loving shit out of the F2000.

Farcry 3 is by far one of the best FPS's I have ever played. The open world is awesome, colorful, and engaging. The AI of the enemies is some of the surpassing I've seen and not at all repetitive or predictable. The soundtrack and story are great.

Just finished Revelations, I think I will be moving on to AC3 here soon.

I happen to like the repetition of the AC games, it's the easiest way for me to zone out just running over rooftops doing a shitload of nothing. I'm hoping AC3 delivers with the bear fights. I really have no other expectations other than that.

I also played and loved all the Ezio games (AC1 bored me to tears within minutes of playing it). I thoroughly enjoyed running around like an idiot, repairing banks all over the city in a game about assassinations.

AC3 just sucks. It seems like everyone at Ubisoft threw an idea into a hat and the devs just implemented all of them. The result is a massive game that tries to do everything and ends up doing very few things well. Even the staple of the series, running around on rooftops, is pretty much ruined. The world is too flat, the few towers are all the same and there are way too many places where you have to get off the buildings to continue moving. The one redeeming quality, running on tree branches, is ruined by having too few trees in the game. The actual assassinations are fun, but they make up a very small part of the game. There's a full-fledged naval campaign for fuck's sake.

Another gripe of mine is that the guards all have telepathy or something. If a guard sees me do something illegal (like climb!), every other guard in the city will know of my evil deeds. Running away is so hard it's annoying so once you get detected, be prepare to sit there until you've killed 20+ dudes.

I just came in my pants a little. Dark Souls and Demon's Souls are probably my two favorite video games of all time.

Speaking of which, does anyone have Dark Souls for the PS3? I'm stupid and can't figure out where to go to purchase and download the DLC.

Playstation Store. Just do a search for "Dark Souls" and the DLC should pop up. Otherwise, it is under add-ons for disc based games.

The old one wasn't anything to brag about though either. This one seems at least a bit easier to navigate.

In other news I got my Metal Gear HD collection. Time to do some hardcore tactical espionage.

Well the old one, I could hop on, get the new videos and demos in 10 seconds then hop off. I don't want the TV Shows/Movies intergrated with the game stuff. And for some demos you have to add them to cart then buy them. Other ones you can download directly and have in background. It also takes about 10 seconds to start in the first place.

If you can buy anything at all you're having a better experience than I am lately. I can't get the fucking thing to transfer funds to the Wallet to actually purchase anything. It said "Unable to transfer funds" or something, and the website itself tells me my card is invalid. Um, no it isn't, fuck face, I just bought beer with it less than an hour before trying to buy an add-on.

Sony's website forum tells me this shit has been happening as far back as 2010.

Well since my PS3 died and League of Legends marathons usually end up with me wanting to kill people. I'm going to try MechWarrior online to take up my nerd time. Anyone else try it?
