They pull from a wide variety of sources and levels of production, and I agree with their top 2. I think Ni No Kuni should've made the top 10.

Great article. The Last of Us is what is driving me to blow through a lot of my games now, trophies be damn. I just need to reach the endings, so I can say "I beat the game and move on with my life. This lack of backwards compatibility really depresses me, yet at the same time, I'm going to keep my PS3 because it can hold music, movies, stream netflix and be a blu-ray player.

But I hate the fact that I will have to walk into Gamestop and get rid of mostly everything else except for a few games. Give them away for pennies on the dollar. It hate it so very much. I'm shooting for a PS4 in March, but fuck I have a lot of gaming to do and so little time. League of Legends has fucked me, I can't quit that goddamn game, and I play it sometimes, disappointed at the terrible community, getting my ass kicked as children and retards say stupid thinking knowing I should be playing PS3, yet I'm not.

We just got the Wii U for Christmas. My daughter had been wanting one, and what finally sold me was when I played the Super Mario Bros at a demo and the graphics were just delicious. We also got her the 3D World, and she has been going back and forth with the two games. I'm biding my time to get sucked into them because I am in the middle of Lego POTC at the moment.

On that list was Gone Home, which is funny because a guy I know decided to try and make an RPG version of the game for fun and in the past week interest in it suddenly snowballed:

Ehhhhhh, I'm not too crazy about some of the choices. Here's how my list would go:

    10 - The Cave
    9 - Papers Please
8 - Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds
    7 - Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs
    6 - GTA V
5 - Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance
4 - The Last of Us
3 - Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch
    2 - DOTA 2
    1 - Fire Emblem: Awakening

Honorary mentions include Saints Row IV, God of War: Ascension and Metro: Last Light. I've always been apathetic towards the Tomb Raider series in general, and the latest installment did nothing to change my mind. While it's a good game, I felt Bioshock: Infinite got a lot of acclaim based on it's name, and the original Bioshock was much better in every aspect sans graphics. I have yet to play Towerfall but I've heard very good things. Gone Home is one that I don't think should be listed as a "game", since in that sense it is quite lacking. As an interactive movie and social commentary it's very good. As a game let's be honest, it blows.

Injustice...I mean, the author of the article is right in that it hasn't really caught on with the hardcore fighting game community. Let's face it, a lot of its appeal is the whole "OMG BATMAN IZ PUNCHIN SUPES OMG" angle. It's a re-skinned MK clone with some serious balance issues.

The thing about Revengeance is that it's just plain fun, and for some reason Kojima decided to not take himself too seriously. I mean, even the name is something you'd find on the sequel to an over-the-top movie you'd find that went straight to DVD (Cloverfield 2: Revengeance). It's a big departure from the overly complicated storyline that culminated in MGS 4. Plus, the boss battles (and the accompanying music) are some of the most memorable that I've seen. And, again, incredibly over-the-top but in a campy, fun way. When I killed Sundowner I was cracking up the whole time it was so fucked up. It was something 5 year old me would've thought up, but in a good way. And the fight against Senator Armstrong? I had a patriotic boner the whole time. Mericuh!

Hey guys, I'm going to be at a charity video game marathon this coming week. It's raising money for cancer research. Check it out, have fun watching and donate if you want. Every little bit helps.

Is there a way to donate and attribute it to you or just donate in general?

If you donate and specify my handle (Reed Tiburon in the donation comment. You can write whatever message you want in there. I would suggest doing it during the half life 2 run as I'll be in the room for that.

Not sure how many PS4 owners we got in here, but if you have a PS+ subscription you get Don't Starve this week for free. Holy hell is this game crack. Looks like Tim Burton drew a survival game. A hybrid between MineCraft, the Sims and Dark Souls. Lots of resource gathering, construction, hallucinations that can kill you, no tutorial or hand holding where your only objective is to live for as long as you possibly can.

Fuck me, is this game impressive. I went in without having seen a single screenshot or having read a review, and I was shocked at how original this game is. Wonderful design work, and difficult without being terribly frustrating. Best part is that the gameplay is very intuitive.

This one will be eating up a lot of my free time.

It's been five days since I purchased this game, and I simply cannot stop playing it. It consumes all of my free time, and it's the best game I've come across since Card Hunter.

I just love the design and the gameplay. No tutorial, but the interface and the things required for survival are fairly intuitive. Steep learning curve, but each new thing you learn before your eventual death will get you a few days further next time. The basics are the same for every new game, but the world generation is so varied that it's never the same twice. Fucking brilliant.

Day 74 is my record. I got killed by a swarm of werepigs. I'd been holing up near a rather large pig village and I'd spend the night camped elsewhere during a full moon. This time around though, I was heading back after four days in the bush gathering materials, and I completely shit the bed and reached the village just as night was falling on a full moon. I lit my fire pit up proper, and watched with horror as a half dozen pigs transformed and started a mad dash at me. I didn't reach my miner's cap in time so I could get the hell out of there and they ripped me to shreds. What a way to go, and I had such a sweet camp.

If you haven't played this game, buy it. Buy it now. Don't Starve now. Don't Starve forever. One of the finest games ever made.

It's been about a week since this ended. We made $1,025,000 for Prevent Cancer Foundation. Thanks to anyone who donated and I hope you enjoyed watching.

Can anyone recommend a good launch title for the xbox one? I don't play fps because they make me dizzy and nauseous. But I can't seem to find anything that looks truly exciting.

I've already beaten AC Black flag and GTA 5 for the 360. And now I have this unopened console with nothing to play.

Try downloading the Netflix app? There aren't any next-gen console games worth a shit... yet.

My friend claims this Ryse game is the best game of all time. I do not trust his judgement.

I saw that one. There is also the new Dead Rising, which I enjoyed the last version of. I'm not huge into racing games, but I wish they would bring back another game to the Burnout series. Or another SSX game that doesn't take itself too seriously like the last one. Ryse has very appeal to me. Overall, I'm really disappointed in the selection of launch titles.
