Chat rooms are coming sometime soon. I'll look up my actual character code when I get home and post it up. And to stray from the SCII topic for a moment, a new 2D worms game is coming to the PC next month. I fucking loved Worms: Armageddon, so I'm pretty excited for this.
It'd be nice if someone could compile a list of people like was previously stated. My name is VooDoo and character code is 409. I'm down for any game any of you guys want to play. 1v1 all the way to 4v4's and FFA's. Even some custom made games if we can find some good ones. I was in beta, so if anyone wants a practice partner I'm more then willing to play some friendly 1v1's to bring people up to speed.

Character name: Benzilla Character code: 142 PM me on this forum if you're going to send me a request just so I know who is who.
Here is the list. For anyone that wants to add to it, perhaps it would be easiest just to copy & paste, adding your name to the bottom? Board name = SCII ID & # Benzilla = Benzilla 142 Doormat = Deadlift 641 MateFeedKillRepeat = VooDoo 409 Parker = Parker 644 Thorgouge = Thorgouge 833 zwtipp05 = Stokes 497 Missing numbers for: Fernanthonies = Fernanthones (drop the "i") DCHavok = DCHavok It's not the best list I'm sure but it works for right now, right? I don't even play the game but I was bored so I threw it together while waiting for The Soup to come on. I may be a pain in the ass and pester y'all for help all the time but I give back when I can.
Just adding my character code to the list above. Also added everyone on that list to my battle.net friends list.
Wife™ and I passed through Costco of all places yesterday afternoon and I picked up Dead Space: Extraction for $18.99 plus taxes. Haven't had a chance to play it yet, but if it's half as good as everybody says, I'll consider that a pretty good find.
Has anyone checked out the Box arcade game called "Limbo" yet? Its actually a pretty cool little puzzle game about a boy searching for his sister and fighting the elements of this place.
I drunkenly downloaded limbo last night and played for a bit. It's very cool to look at and very odd. It was pretty intense sitting there wondering what the he'll was going on story wise, but as stated you're looking for your sister, I'm curious to see how it goes. The thing that surprised me was how quickly and viciously the game totally destroys the little boy, but the saves are pretty often so it's not frustrating. One thing i didnt realize from the pictures was how fucking creepy parts of it are, being chased and attacked and whatnot. If you enjoy creepy games and puzzle games this one is perfect.
Yea honestly there isnt really a story just treat it like a puzzle solving game and you will be satisfied. About how creepy it is I couldnt agree more and its kinda graphic for being black and white. But when you get caught in a bear trap you will see what I mean.
I hate to continue the SC2 love fest, but has anyone played the storyline, and played the arcade game Lost Viking? It's fun as hell. Not to mention a blizzard inside joke. Also anyone else notice the WoW Night Elf up top? These Blizzard folk are all full of giggles and easter eggs.
So I just finished the SC2 campaign and: Spoiler I am underwhelmed by the ending. Actually make that most of the campaign. I just didn't give a shit about any of the characters. Is it bad writing? Or is it because I am a lot older now (since SC1) and have more appreciation for good writing? Oh well, at least there is multiplayer. Edit: adding myself to the list
You probably didn't care about the ending, because the actual ending is...what 2 more years away? We have the Zerg game/campaign next, then the Protoss with the finale, I think. The writing could suck also, I'm just going off hypothesis, I haven't beat the campaign yet.
I was thinking about this earlier, how the next expansion will be the full zerg campaign like how they did the Terran this time, I'm curious to find how how they are going to have it work in relation to the between mission screens. Its worked really well this time around with Raynor's ship and being able to check out the lab/armory/bar and whatnot, being able to talk to your various support characters. Since the zerg really only have Kerrigan and then a bunch of mindless drones, how are they going to work all that in? Of course I have faith in Blizzard, I've been pretty impressed with this game so far. Spent awhile last night playing some of the Protoss missions which are pretty fun. I'm going to be in Colorado at my friends cabin in the mountains from Wednesday night till Monday with nothing more than a generator for lights at night, hopefully I don't go through starcraft withdrawals.
From what I've heard the style of the next two campaigns will be a bit different. The Zerg one will have RPG type elements as you level up Kerrigan's powers and the Protoss one is supposed to be Zeratul forming alliances between various protoss tribes to increase their power and technology.
Yeah, exactly what Z said. Each campaign is going to have it's own meta elements. So you won't be collecting research and doing mission for cash when you're the Zerg. It's going to be awesome each level. When are we getting a board game going? I see people online but if you're not in a game, I can't tell what they're doing and no one is responsive. Come on people!
Adding myself to the list. Going to add all of you. If I'm on I'll definitely be down to play anyone. Board name = SCII ID & # * Benzilla = Benzilla 142 * Doormat = Deadlift 641 * MateFeedKillRepeat = VooDoo 409 * Parker = Parker 644 * Thorgouge = Thorgouge 833 * zwtipp05 = Stokes 497 * Fernanthonies = Fernanthones 412 * Douche Baggins = Dopefish 790 * Nalab = Nalab 662
We can fix that by adding each other with our account email address. It will make us a real-id friend and so we'd have to reveal our full name to whomever we add using this method, but it will show you what the other person is doing on your friend's list. Also, you can chat to real-id friends between WoW and SC2. I've been on a ton just doing some achievements before I start real ladder (still want to watch day9 replays to get an idea of some strategies). Just send me a message and more than likely I will be down for some custom game practice and whatnot.
