I´s playable but still a bit buggy but they keep patching it. I love the mission editor that comes with the game Have a look yourself http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n87ftVQ3Nl8 Multiplayer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2u5LYX_PHfo
i picked up the ps3 version, my ID is f1gnut Im not terribly good at it and i play from korea. but if for some reason you guys want to play with me, send me an invite
Interesting. I typed up a long post about Modern Warfare, thought it posted but now it's not here. Anyway I don't feel like writing all that again so I'll just say I'm down to play online on Xbox Live, my gametag is craladcrar, and I usually play Team Deathmatch.
I'll join you fellas when I can actually FIND MW2 in a fucking shop. Fuck. They are SO SLOW stocking games in S.A. it's ridiculous. I would be playing on PC - would I be able to join those of you playing on XBox 360and PS3, or would I be fucked? I haven't played much online (shit internet, again). I don't own a PS3 or XBox of any form. Also, for those who have finished the single player campaign of MW2, is there an Arcade Mode like MW1? Or was that only a GOTY-edition-only perk?
You can't join people on PS3 or Xbox. That wouldn't be to fair, it would be a slaughter vs the console users in terms of accuracy. Anyone tried Spec Ops? How is it?
Nope you cant play aginst people that have the game on a different platform. Mouse and keyboard wouldnt be fair against controllers anyway. MW2 should be available on steam or some other site like that.
I adore Bioware. Every game they make I've played and thoroughly enjoyed. Dragon Age is no exception. I'm barely into the game but am already totally hooked. Just had an encounter that I thought was awesome. Spoiler Before you hit Lothering (sp?) you're stopped by bandits collecting a 'toll'. Through conversation I not only convinced them to let me pass free of charge, but intimidated them into paying me from their collection. LOVE little touches like that.
Spec Ops are fun, and can be very challenging. It's great two player action as well. All of the levels are from the Campaign story line(that I can tell), so if you do the special ops first, the campaign can be somewhat easier, especially the sled-race, which I rock at.
If anybody is down for playing some MW2 sometime, either throw me an invite, or I'll add you. I'm up for playing anything on the game. PSN: emery_88
Totally my pleasure, hope you didn't take offense to those times I teabagged your corpse either. That was fun times, if we had two or three more people, I think we'd have a full side of TDM. Get a mic though Mekka, mutes are no fun.
I'm looking to pick up a copy of Modern Warfare for the PC for online play. Would I be better off saving the extra money and picking up MW1 or is MW2's online play not as bad as everyone is making it out to be? Again, for PC, not a console. Thanks
Spec Ops with a friend is incredibly fun. I played with my brother via Xbox live. This game is fucking awesome, and I went 40-9 yesterday which was pretty neat.
Holy shit I just saw the MW2 commercial for the first time. I need some clean boxers. The roommate and I are now discussing getting an XBox solely to play MW2 whenever we want. Jesus.
Also, to view the membership of those groups, you click on the "ps3" or "xbl" group that shows up on the front page, under the legend. That will take you to the membership page so you can see who's joined.
It's got plenty of potential. As of right now there are only 3 people in the XBL group including myself but I'm sure more will join. Until then, I'll be improving my call of duty modern warfare 2 skills/ browsing the idiot board.
I'm also thinking I'll hack the group display to show online status and gamertag right on that page to make it a bit easier.
