    This, plus people want to laud him for being humble and deferential, but he is just as self-aggrandizing and demonstrative as other players, just in a different way. Whenever I watch him, I think of the lyrics from Jesus He Knows Me by Genesis. People are quick to condemn players for end zone celebrations or calling attention to themselves, but then rave about his desire to win when he is running all over the field screaming and yelling like an idiot (something else which dates back to his UF days)

    It was a race for us... classes were small and there were lots of students so you had to hope to register early enough to get into good sections. The professors made a huge difference. Yes, the most difficult part was entering your health insurance info, but when there's a ton of people wanting to get into a 30 person class and you've got specific classes you need to take and have to work around a job... it can suck when your plans go awry.

    I was in Lawrence once. It was the night in March a couple years ago when it went from warm to snowy and also the night before they lost in the tournament. I'm glad I wasn't there the night they lost the big game, because there would have been a total meltdown. It seemed like Lincoln where everything hinged on one sport.

    I tailgated one game in Lincoln this year and it was a good time. I prefer football fans to basketball fans, or at least people in Lincoln. It's very midwestern.
