    My mom used to watch Yan Can cook when I was a kid. She also used to watch Jacques Pepin as well. He was really good. I actually met him at a restaurant when I was a kid. He was surprised/impressed that some little kid knew who he was.

    You ever watch "The Essence of Emeril"? It sucked out loud. Him cooking in front of a camera is boring as hell. He really needs the audience to shine like on Emeril Live.


    If we're just talking about cooking shows in general, my vote goes to Alton and Good Eats. Thanks to him I sound like I know what the hell I'm talking about.

    Kind of like how people hate sitcoms unless there's a studio audience to tell you inform you what's actually funny.

    Have a REAL cooking show. Show them how it's done from scratch. I'm pitching one right now called Upton Sinclair's "The Jungle": The Cooking Show. People should know the right amount of severed human limb to put in their meat and the correct way to apply maul hammer to skull.

    I just got rep'd saying that while girls who are heavier might be pretty, they are NOT prettier in general than skinny girls. The gyst was that a girl would never look better if she gained 10lbs.
