I am and have one of those too. I don't know how much that has to do with it being so wrong in my brain though. The only "sister" that should be used in a sentence about fucking her is Sister Mary. Not step or half or ANY.

What if it's his stepmom? Would that count for ya?

Then you would be Eskimo brothers with your dad...I couldn't handle that, my head would explode.

Wow, one little innocuous comment, and I feel like I have broken Shegirls brain.

Look, shegirl, you were three when your mom re-married, right? If you've been raised with someone as a step-sibling from the age of three, I can understand the revulsion. I'm not sure that bigperson's situation is exactly the same. If, say, my parents got divorced and re-married and I found myself with a new 23 year old step-sister and started hitting that, would you agree that, while perhaps a little skeevy or weird or not quite right, it is not nearly the same order of fucked up as it would be had I been raised with that person since the age of 3? And the same might be true if my parents had re-married at 13?

Does it help that we were dating before our parents got married. Hell our parents were each married to different people when we first started "talking" to put in high school terms.

That's because you did however, it wasn't that hard to do to begin with. Like Nett said, having steps maybe part of why it has but it sure isn't the only reason it did.

GA- No no no. I said in my post that neither of my stepbrothers are from either of those two unions, rather one later in life. Although I have called them family for many years now so I can understand that that may be part of why this is making my brain melt.

Hey everyone, go look at this to make your brain feel better: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=Mc0liHubCf8#!

For the guys, it's a girl doing yoga.

For the girls, it's a girl doing yoga while a fluffy cat is on her back.

    It's cool.

Can someone please explain to me how to do Youtube links now that whatever has changed has changed? I know Nett said it somewhere but I can't find it.

Agreed, I can see how it creeps SheGirl out, knowing them since she was 3. But, I don't think it's that uncommon. I know two different guys - one from my senior year in highschool and one that I met in college - whose step parents got married when they were juniors / seniors in highschool, both who slept with their step sisters. It was the first time for all four involved, I believe (I know for both guys, and one of the girls - not sure about the other, since I didn't know her.)

In both instances, on the first time, the girl slipped into the guy's room late at night, while the parents were home. One of them was just once, I think, but the dude I knew in highschool was like, several times during the Summer before they left for college. I haven't seen him in a while - I'll have to ask him about the Thanksgiving thing these days. (That's been 25 years, though, so not likely.)

As the farmer said, "If you can't keep it in your pants, keep it in the family."

Who really cares unless it's blood relations? I wouldn't worry unless you're the King of Denmark.

That cat is totally trying to take her top off.

Alright, here's a question for you guys: is it ok to sleep with, say, a third cousin?

Not even if the first two get really ugly?

It's still the familial line, so no. It'd have to be a cousin by marriage. I fail to see much of the stigma other than awkward holidays. There is no good argument there. Unless you grew up together as children. Bobby and Cindy Brady is wrong, but Marsha and Greg is a go. Everyone got that? Are we clear?

I mentioned on here before my second cousin, who I met once, looks exactly like Aria Giovanni. It'd be a beautiful mutant, but that's pretty greasy. Even for me.

FDR. And it was his fifth cousin. Look at all the awesome things he did.

    Damn cousin-fucker.

I discovered at my grandmother's funeral that her parents were cousins. And look how I turned out.

What I'm getting at here is that, coming from an Italian family, being third cousins is ground for a wedding invitation. But my family also came from a particularly poor and backwards part of that country (which was a particularly backwards country at the time, when you think about it). So who knows. But, Mother Church says that 7th cousins is the point after which it's kosher to play ball, so.

Reminds me of Blake Clark's old comedy bit (he's from my hometown).

"Yeah, everybody things because I'm from the South we drive trucks and marry our cousins. Pfff, I never married my cousin.
Fucked her. But, never married her."

And Hallmark still has a fucking card for it.

Cousin fucking keeps the family pure and the moonshine strong so don't knock it. If it's at least your second or maybe third cousin (not sure) it's no worries anyway because your DNA is far enough apart that any kids you spawn won't look like The Toxic Avenger.

They also make great last-minute dates for Prom.
