    Checkouts at Walmart, at 12:18am Friday after Thanksgiving.


    For the record, I walked out with nothing. Wound up not being anything I really wanted except a Muppets iPhone case I was going to get for a friend. But I'm not waiting in something like that for a $15 phone case. Waiting in lines gives me brain cancer.

    EDIT: I really have nothing against other people doing it. If that's how you can afford to get your family members gifts that would otherwise be out of your budget, good for you. I hope they appreciate it. But man, I just would not be able to handle all that.

    To summarize my night:

    The wife accompanied my sister-in-law to Walmart for some Black-Friday deals. I stayed at my brother's house, helped him put the kids to bed, and then we watched Captain America. My wife and sister-in-law fought the crowds for some clothes and minor gifts. I used amazon.com to get the vast majority of my shopping for my wife done. They came home frazzled and annoyed. I sat on my couch and got a lot done.

    I haven't gone to a store to shop for Christmas in a good 4 years, and I don't plan to start this year.

    While I enjoy her stand up, I'm pretty sure my wife is going to kill someone if she sees those fucking Target ads anymore. I swear I saw them at least once for every commercial break today while watching the Packers/Lions game.

    I am passive-aggressive to a fault but I get twitchy and mouth-runny when it comes to line cutters (and children, apparently). Just the thought of waiting forever in those lines and then having to shank some fat(ter) bitch because she thought her time was more important that mine and watching her check out while they drag me off to jail?! Fuck all that noise!

    Ahh, slept in, ditched business class, and am having my first glass of wine at 9am.

    I just checked the sea conditions for my trip to Estonia on sunday, and the sea heights are going to be like 5meters. Going to make getting really drunk tough.
