    I have spent the last two nights speaking French extensively and the only action I've got are the standard issue bisses that Europeans greet each other with. I even went out with three French people (two girls and one guy) and the hotter, younger, singler one decided to start making out with the other guy. So much for speaking with a "foreign accent" being sexy to French girls. And the other one engaged me in a political/philosophical conversation that my French isn't nearly good enough to handle.

    Oh, and I apparently speak French with a German accent.

    The only time I have ever met a French lady while drinking resulted in her, her man and two of their friends being kicked out of my local for engaging in a little bit of a public sex show in the corner of the smoking area of my local tavern. I was invited to continue the journey with them but I was both far too drunk and they were way under par for me to even think about going anywhere away from my rum.

    Sorry you're sad Big Guy. I went to a Pre-dead party tonight but I got there so late the almost dead guy (and the extra one who is booking it any day) had already left. 25 years of people were there. 6 were left. I knew 3. I'm tripping out hearing about the attendees. Fuck my work for getting busy late and making me miss them. Honey Jack and Absolut will help me through it.

    I have talked before about a good friend of my who has cancer. It looked like he was out of the woods. It now turns out that not only is he not in the clear, but he is all but guaranteed to die from it in the next few months.

    I have known this for a while, but tonight was the first time my friends and I have really confronted it.

    The truly fucked up part is that he is younger than me. He has gone to
    war for our country. And he was truly putting himself on a path to betterment right as he was diagnosed. Given the option I would trade places with him because the world is a better place with him in it.
