Sorry to hear big fella. I lost a friend to skin cancer earlier this year and to Queen, yes the Aussie contingent is possibly still lurking about.

And for those that can't I shall.
In honour of myself I give you,
    Ranga Boobies.

I've just gotten home from watching a mate's band play at a bar and have a nice happy buzz going on. Somehow, youtube has led me from AC/DC to Nicki Minaj..... I had no clue who she was other than seeing the odd reference here and elsewhere on the interwebz and decided to see what the deal was. Seriously, what the fuck? How is thgis popular? I may not be a fan of Lady Gaga, but I can see why people like her music. I'm not particulaly fond of Kesha either, but at least people can dance to her stuff. However, there is nothing at all redeemable about that video and I feel unclean for having watched it. Time to cleanse:

Youtube: I love you, but sometimes, fuck you.

Why am I up so early? Oh yeah. A baptism and stuff. My bloodshot eyes do all the testifying for me.

Last night went really, really well. My dad was kinda a little drunk before we went to hibachi. It was also his first time to see hibachi. He was like a little kid. He:
-mastered the chug while squirt of the sake from the hibachi chef
-demanded to play with the chain and coil of the little magic trick that the hibachi chef opened up with
-tried talking to the chef and waitress the entire night but couldn't understand anything they said ("Huh? What? Do you understand 'good job??' ")
-grabbed the waitress after the meal, hugged her to his side, and repeatedly told her what a good job she did
-accidentally dropped and shattered the bottle of homemade lemonchello that my future mother in law brought as a gift outside the restaurant

My sister said "this is why we don't take you out." I personally thought it was hilarious. Go dad!!

I woke up early but it's nice when a roommate is making sausage and eggs and rolls to share as I walk into the kitchen. I had a eureka moment over breakfast and have an idea scribbled down on newspaper that's a really simple method to make carbon fiber rods (something I have considered for a project I've been working on over time). Now if I can only find my damn epoxy...

Yesterday was agonizing because I ordered a Christmas gift for myself a couple months ago and it's a custom made piece of shooting equipment from a guy that builds some pretty nice stuff. Of course my anticipation skyrocketed when I got the tracking number this past Monday and it said it was out for delivery yesterday- but it never came. Now I wake up to a Facebook message saying the people at my old house got a package addressed for me yesterday. What the hell.

They are overly concerned with my uterus because of the "extreme risk." Fuck YOU, "precancerous cells." It could be nothing OR it could be fucking serious.

A good friend of mine has a best friend of thirty years dying from AIDS. Holding a grown man weeping after he had to rush him to the hospital again, it just makes peace mean something new to me. Just let him go...please. Then you feel guilty for wishing for death...

Blech. I'm hungover and dramatic. I'm watching The Game for the first time, I love David Fincher flicks and never knew this was one of his collection.

I'm genuinely sorry for anyone in any pain. Very few could deserve it.

My uncle passed away from what turned into a variety of cancers in the end. It was very tough for our entire family so you guys have my full sympathy.

It's been a pretty awesome weekend...the "A Christmas Story" house tour was excellent, very nostalgic. Celebrated a friend's birthday last night...feeling the hurt today.

I now have an obsession with NHL 11 on Xbox...not always easy to play when drunk and seeing double at 4 am though.

This song is such a sexy ass jam...

I played it probably 5 times last night at the party I was at over a few hours to gauge individuals acceptability as conversation partners.

Writing "Finland" on a package with my name (as a business) is friggin' surreal.

I spent the better part of 2009 at the bedside of one of my best friends, watching some horrible pain that I wouldn't wish on ...well, okay, there are people I would wish it on, but that's because I'm an evil piece of shit. It was horrible. I heard quotes from doctors like, "we were pretty sure we were going to lose you last night," "we're worried about you, you're the sickest patient on this floor," and ultimately, "the cancer has metastasized to the lining of your brain. If you do nothing, we're talking about 2 - 4 weeks. If we attempt radiation, we're talking about 2 - 4 months."

Well, fuck you. He just celebrated a full year of chemo-free living. While I'm convinced his stubborn Scottish ass is actually the Highlander, he seems to feel otherwise, and that it's possible for other people too.

I hope so, big guy, for your friend's sake as well as yours.

Today's my birthday. I am celebrating by doing a whole lot of nothing and reading about cancer? Sorry to all who have been touched by cancer, but perhaps maybe we could lighten the mood?

Here is rep that I have received on my earlier post from a new board member named Coke Bottle Casualty who is our old board member carrymehome

"Then shift the conversation by writing something funny or interesting instead of just bitching. Its not the board's fault no one wants to hang ou with you on your birthday."

    Charming. Thanks.

Gay wedding reception was really interesting.

Literally the most fashionable place I've ever been to in my entire life. And I've been to more than my share of fashion shows.

Unfortunately, I couldn't convince my friend to make a Kwanzaa cake at the other party.

(Also, Big, good luck with your friend, and such. Fuck cancer).

My goodness, you are a frightened and petty, desperately unhappy little man, aren't you?

Try to have a happy Christmas, Ballsack. Even douchebags should have a little joy in their lives.

On a lighter note, I guess we can stop hearing the endless nonsense about another potential undefeated season. Sorry, Green Bay. I was rooting for you.
