    So, they have work pants that come in skinny-jeans style for dudes now. I was presented this horror at my gym tonight. I thought the gym would be the last place you would find hipsters--- yeah, snake eyes. They have officially invaded everywhere. Pabst and trust fund cheques for everybody.

    I've heard something just recently about horse meat hitting the US menu and to be honest I'll try it. Its meat and I've heard it can be pretty good. One of the my vendors from Wisconsin travels to Japan occasionally and said he had it there. He claims its good. On the flip side the horse market (normal horses as pets and what not) around my area is pretty terrible. Some of the people I work with in Ohio say its pretty dead by them as well. With the kill pens getting shut down people are having more trouble getting rid of horses they can no longer care for so I think serving the meat could add a boost to the market (potentially). I don't think it will ever be huge unless its dirt cheap or better than what I imagine. Why not? It's not dangerous to eat, slap it on the grill.

    We export a lot to Japan, too. That's where most of the old thoroughbreds end up.

    I would love to try horse meat some day. (This coming from a guy who has eaten raccoon on more than one occasion. And I'll do it again.)

    I believe I read on a certain someone's facebook wall that they changed the laws about slaughtering horses here in the US. We may see and increase in horse meat.

    I've had zebra meat, which is close enough. It was oily and kinda gross, no thanks.

    I've also had emu, venison, rabbit, caribou, squirrel, wild boar, moose, beaver, bear, buffalo, and pheasant. You know what? Nothing beats wild boar, nothing.
