    Yeah, well, you've only got a couple weeks left to convince her of this. She's moving to Hawai'i or some other foreign country and getting married or something. We'll never hear from her again.


    But, back to the horse meat thing. Why does everybody keep calling it horse meat? Doesn't it have a name? Pig = bacon, pork, sausage, bacon, ham, bacon, etc. and Cow = beef, steak, etc. If they called it something else, that might help the horse meat ranchers get over the PR hurdle.

    Ok everyone, I've been thinking of the best way to do this, but I'm dumb so here's what I got:

    It's time to give away the prize for this years "King Drunk Thread" (aka "Queen Drunk Thread"; aka "King/Queen Ding-A-Ling"). Last year, the prize was given to the first poster on page 108. I kinda missed that page this year, so this is what we are going to do:

    1) Somewhere between pages 300-310, I'm going to make a post letting everyone know that the contest in officially on. At that point, it is everyone's job to rep the hell out of that post or any post of mine (make sure you do lots of Reds too- Christmas colors!) with funny comments until such time as the contest is over.

    2) When is the contest over? It's a secret. It could be an hour after it goes live, could be a day- who knows? Just send those red or green reps with funny comments.

    3) I have in my mind a certain time and date that I will shut everything down and declare a winner. I might give clues as we start to get close to that time, but I might not too, so you never know- keep trying. At that point, whoever is THE LAST PERSON TO REP ME WHEN I CHECK MY USER CP AT THAT PARTICULAR TIME will be the winner. I'll post here to let the winner know and to rub it into everyone else's face and make them sad. It'll be awesome.

    4) I'll contact the winner via PM to get your name and address, and at that point I'll mail you your prize. What was the prize last year? I don't know. Something awesome, I think. Look it up, jerks! How come I gotta do all the work around here?

    5) The winner is more that welcome to post what the prize is once he/she receives it. Or don't, and make everyone else jealous and mad and they'll probably hate you and never talk to you again.

    6) At the end of everything, I'll probably post screenshots of the funny reps that I've received, because sharing is nice.

    So that's about it, I guess. Post any questions you want until Showtime. And good luck, fuckers!

    So, three year ago on thanksgiving, I went out drinking with my cousins and some of their female friends. I apparently went home with one of the friends...but for the life of me I can't remember what happened that night. I now may see this girl again on Christmas as my cousin invited her to the family Christmas after party. I never thought I would be one to not remember a girl, but I guess I am... any thoughts?

    I'm not surprised that it's been coming at all, what really surprises me is that nobody cares. Everyone on this website should give a shit, yet when someone mentions it, only three people make a response about it? I don't doubt at all that corporations want to make the internet a pay by tier system like they do with television; where you need to pay to be allowed the access to web content that, up until now, has been entirely free.

    This act has never been, nor ever will be, about stopping internet piracy. If it was, they would put better legislation into finding people who do steal web content and either redistribute or sell, instead of putting blanket accusations onto entire communities and then using a banhammer on them all. This is an act, that will allow large companies and shareholder groups the access to control the one medium that thus far, has been largely uncontrollable. If the Canadian government was to try and implement an act like this, which I'm sure at some point they will, I would make sure that my friends and I are sitting on the government office front steps with signs; I would make sure that letters are written to people in office and I would damn well make sure a fuss is being made.

    If you don't care about innovation, then realize that if SOPA passes; this website, and others like it, will be blocked eventually from the United States internets.
