Only a girl who possesses boobies and booty would ever make such patently false statement like this.

From my limited understanding of this new SOPA law it will allow porn producers to have more power at claiming copyright infringement and shutting down the glorious flow of streaming sites like youjizz and the like. I.fap.to had a ten page users agreement which basically outlined some preemptive legalese for the coming legislation. Shit will get real if you cut off the flow of porno to the men in America.

My company has 3 pages of "company standards" about the use of ellipses. And rules about which types of hyphens (apparently, there are more than one) to use in which context.

I generally give 0 fucks about anything political related, but this is the first time that I'm actually paying attention to something like this because it has the potential to directly affect me more so than anything else. (I know that's a pretty ignorant statement since there is so much that gets voted on every day that directly affects me from health care to taxes, etc. I just find it hard to care about that stuff, while as a frequent internet user this has the potential to affect my daily life in a fairly profound way.)

I just sent some messages to my representatives and plan on calling their offices to make sure I somehow get my point of view considered. I'm not sure if it will help, but on this topic I feel like I have to do something.

Anyone have a good lentil soup recipe? I have a whole pack of those things, barely used, and I need to get rid of them. Not a huge fan of lentils...

They're just so boring. I made some lentil turkey burgers once and they were ok. I guess that's the beauty of a lentil. It takes on whatever else you're cooking or seasoning it with.

I don't know exactly how The Wife does her's, but I would say to let them soak overnight in a bowl of water. Then, in a stockpot, cook down some onions, bellpeppers, and celery in some olive oil. Then throw in a metric shit-ton of pork- ham hocks, tasso, smoked sausage, or if you really want to get sexy, use a big ham bone from a left over spiral ham that still have meat clinging all over it. Add some thyme, bay leaf, and salt and pepper, then your lentils, then enough chicken stock to cover everything.

Let simmer for about 9 days. Should be good by then.

Lentils cook in about 20 minutes. You don't have to soak them like beans. Nom sent me this recipe and I think I will try it. <a class="postlink" href="http://broccolinibunch.wordpress.com/2011/10/02/lentil-soup-take-two/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://broccolinibunch.wordpress.com/20 ... -take-two/</a>

That's what I like about them, I'll throw them in stir fries, salads and such. You can basically substitute them in for rice in most dishes, they're a hell of a lot healthier.
