I didn't go to sleep yet and it just turned Friday.

Dixie, I love Monster Magnet but you need to use some of the other M's. I could go on for days about Lemmy.

So begins another day of contests!

Will it end today? MAYBE. POSSIBLY. PERHAPS. I'D LIKE TO THINK SO BUT WHO KNOWS. LETS JUST SAY I WOULDN'T BE SURPRISED UNLESS I WAS.

It's 75 degrees Fahrenheit, here. Fucking ridiculous. It's suppose to rain on Christmas. I wanted to go horseback riding. It makes it a little more challenging in the rain.

The ICU nurses told me that they had seen people name their children melena.

    Neat, huh.

In non-poop related news, for those of you following my life, I had a coffee date with someone a few weeks ago. Some scheduling thing came up and it got cancelled. Now that her exams are done we agreed to meet again today at a nearby mall. Except she just sent me a message saying she was done her shopping and had moved on to cooking and baking for today and could not meet. God damn it.

PSA: Ladies, if you want to go blonde, and bleach is involved, there WILL be damage to your hair.

That girl I wrote about a few pages ago with the psycho boyfriend is a bit psycho herself. I expressed my concerns for her desire to go platinum because she didn't want to lose length. She told me that her hair is very difficult to strip. I figured she knew what she was talking about as she is almost finished with cosmetology school. She claimed that she had done it before many times. She had stressed that her hair was really hard to lighten so I used my serious bleach.

Turns out she actually thought you could lighten hair with a demi-permanent (you can't), that was how she determined her hair was so hard to strip. So, her hair got fried, just the bottom inch though. She freaks out, won't pay me and cries over her fucking hair.

Sigh. This is why I can't pursue a serious color career, bitches be crazy.

Ok, you all are going to make fun of me for this, I'm sure. This whole "deep cuts" thing - it looks like Kubla Khan is asking for individual songs that might not be so well known, so that he can buy the individual songs, rather than buying the whole album? Am I reading that right? At the risk of sounding 20 years older than I already am, is that how you kids do it now - when you want to check out a band, you get recommendations and only buy individual songs?!?

Isn't that a lot like saying, "you know, I really haven't checked out Cormac McCarthy as I'd like to - what are some of his better chapters?"

A nurse friend of mine told me she once had to talk down a new Mother determined to name her Daughter after the pretty word she kept hearing the medical staff using during the delivery.

Because pretty as it may sound, no child should have to grow up being called "Placenta."

OMG OMG OMG! I think he's coming today instead of tomorrow!

Best friend gave me some cryptic warnings. "Have you cleaned your house yet? Well I wouldn't wait until the last minute, how about doing it this morning?....and how about preparing dinner around 4:30 or 5?"

He's coming. For my birthday. I cried.

My uncle was a cop in Chicago and he told me that one day in court, they were trying the case of a Female (rhymes with tamale) Gonzales.

Apparently, her mom was so high when she gave birth, when they brought her the baby and she saw the little wristband, she thought somebody had already named the baby so she went with it.

Pandora is my thing now... either the Stevie Ray Vaughan or Trampled By Turtles station can keep me entertained for a long long time. Perfect background music while I'm at my work bench.

Pandora is so last year. Get spotify. You can do radio OR pick your own library.

I'm not that finicky about music... Pandora is simple and effortless. It gets the job done.

Too many ads and you can't use the skip button often enough. I guess I am pickier than you.
