    Conversation I just had with my boss:

    Frank: See you tomorrow
    Boss: *blank stare* what?
    Frank: Well, since it's Thursday... and tomorrow's Friday.
    Boss: I thought we were taking tomorrow off.
    Frank: I thought we were taking Monday off instead.
    Boss: Oh I thought we were just doing both.
    Frank: Um, Ok, see you Tuesday

    Not a bad way to finish the day. Normally I wouldn't care since I like work but the GF and I are heading to NH tomorrow and that'll let us get up there much earlier, plus it'll let me cook up a few diet friendly meals before we had up so I'm covered if my parents are inflexible on food. Also, I would have been pissed if I drove down tomorrow and found out I didn't have to come in since the office is about 20-25 minutes in the opposite direction of NH.

    And I know some of you motherfuckers are getting two weeks or whatever, but the unexpected day is better thna the expected two weeks.

    I'm sure every amateur stand-up comedian in the world has a joke about this but I don't care. I always find it funny when sites give you a test to see if you're a robot by having you type two words with the logic of "Well, every human should be able to read THIS:" and the letters are so distorted it looks like a toddler spit up alphabet soup. So many sites now think I'm a spam robot. Beep bop boop beep bop.

    I used to work at a web start up and asked this same question, since we used Captcha or an equivalent and I found it infuriating. Apparently, even as of 2 years ago, if you don't make the text all wonky they make bots sophisticated enough to take an image of the text, scan it, extract the text, and enter it in.
