    Merry Christmas Eve Eve jerks!

    I was supposed to be flying to see my parents this evening but my mom called me and told me the weather was bad enough that they wouldn't be able to get to the airport tonight. Because I didn't want to sleep in the airport, I re-scheduled my flight to tomorrow. I got off of work at noon so I have a half-day free. On the recommendation of a certain TiBette, I got a bottle of cake vodka and have been mixing it with everything I've got all afternoon.

    Cake vodka + lemonade = good
    Cake vodka + Dr. Pepper = better
    Cake vodka + orange soda = best

    Any other suggestions? I'm thinking of a cake vodka white russian except I don't have kahlua so I'd substitute irish creme.

    I haven't gotten hammered by myself in a while. It feels good, man.

    I've always enjoyed getting hammered by myself every now and then. Getting drunk is always fun, and sometimes it's nice to not have to deal with other people's shit. I'm doing the same until The Girlfriend get's home, started with some Captain and Coke, but I don't need to go to hard to quick, so I switched to beer.

    I've got one of those; it is pretty awesome. Mine doesn't shoot missiles, though. I have managed to wreck parts of my houseplant with a winning combination of spinning rotors and poor piloting skills. I've seen some with a laser-tag system which would be awesome.

    Speaking of houseplants, I went on a date with a girl I met online who was impressed that I had a plant. She seemed to think that it meant I was responsible and caring. Seriously, I have an ivy plant that I occasionally remember to water. I guess that means I'm "father of the year" material.

    How's this for weird:

    This time last year when my fiancee was in labor, I had a killer toothache(which later needed a root canal). I didn't say anything at the time, because I didn't want to be the douchebag that says "Goddamn honey, my mouth is in some serious pain right now." while she was pushing a human being out of her. Today I have a similar toothache in right around the same area.

    In any event, the "birthday party" was awesome, now I'm drinking. Anyone ever have one of these?
