    Dirty little unappreciative heathens. Oh good lord I wanted to beat them all severely today. Only one of them even seemed to appreciate the fact that nice things were happening to them. One more tantrum, and I was going to only have one kid to deal with. Thank God they all went to their other parents house.

    Actually, now that I think about it las year was perfect. I spent a week hopped up on hydrocodeine, in bed, watching hours of my favorite movies amd TV shows. My bro amd dad brought me food and booze. It was glorious.

    Productive day! I finally hooked up my external hard drive, backed up everything, got iTunes Home Sharing set up on all the Macs in the house, loaded OS Lion, set up iCloud, baked a chocolate swirl cheesecake for tomorrow's dessert, made salmon cakes from scratch for dinner, and it's not even 7 pm.

    The Mrs. is in the bedroom wrapping presents. Think I'll go there and hold some mistletoe over my crotch and see where that gets me.

    My Resolution this year? To actually post on this board. I've been lurking for years, both hear and at TM (and then RM) MB. I figure being drunk at my mother's at 7:30 on Christmas Eve is a good enough time to start!

    Despite my bender last night, I am starting in on some rum on my way to my usual Christmas Eve tradition of getting completely tanked before everything is done, leaving my husband (who is staying the night despite the fact that he no longer lives here - still haven't broken the drought though) to do most of the work. I did most of the shopping so it's only fair, right?!

    I also got a very nice text from my very awesome boss wishing me a very Merry Christmas! I really lucked out on the job finding. Great company that is very generous to their employees (trucking company) and a very great group of guys that work there! My Christmas is a little brighter!

    On a serious note, this is the first Christmas in at least 5 years where I don't need to assemble toys for the kids.

    It sucks.

    I've been trying to explain to my wife that Dads Assembling Toys On Christmas is a major fucking tradition, but since she's a woman, she just doesn't get it.

    So I found that Tito's vodka I heard suggested here in a small liquor store on my way back home for the holidays. I must say, it is tasty. I am covertly downing some while watching The Sound of Music with my family. Gotta love the holidays.

    I'm watching old episodes of TopGear UK on Netflix.

    I'm going to start adding "bloody hell" to my vocabulary immediately.

    My wife is upstairs dressing up in something slutty. I already told her I'm going to fuck her "in the ass like bloody hell". I think I need to work on the context.

    Off to the in-laws tomorrow. I started drinking for that 8 hours ago.
