    If you ask me, I think this type of horror occurs in sectors where women are absent: The church, prison, or lately-- football. Guys need women to ground them and give them a common thing to relate to. Without them, we're like robots who have expired their purpose, yet the cruel masters leave us turned on.

    And that's why the horrible, horrible robots will someday rise up against us.

    But the CC hired John Jay College to conduct an investigation which found that the majority of the clergy involved went through the seminary in the 60s, a time of free love, and morality wasn't part of the seminary curriculum at that time. I'm guessing their thinking here is, "Hell, they bought into the plenary indulgences thing (literally), they'll buy this,too."

    Some churches don't victimze their kids, instead, they victimize every member of the church, like this latest perverted cunt in my city who established a do-called "free love" church where he demanded wives and daughters of church members put out to whoever, wherever, and for a while people bought it.

    I think you missed the sarcasm of my post. I'm not agreeing with the findings of the "investigation" but rather pointing to how lame it is. Does anyone need a class to tell them pedophilia is immoral? (maybe lawyers...they'll fuck anybody).

    And I don't think the CC has felt the full effects of this yet. Has anyone else seen the TV commercials the CC is airing to get people to return to the church? They actually have the audacity to say, "The church started by Jesus.". Those ads should be pulled due to false advertising, seriously. When He said, "Peter, you are the rock upon which I will build my church," I don't think this is what he had in mind.

    I don't know about SSNs but there was a story in the paper today about an 11 year old girl who got a cell phone for Christmas - with a recycled number that used to belong to an escort service. Apparently she got 30 or 40 calls in 2 days, all at around 3 in the morning, asking if she "could do a half-hour" before her parents shut the phone down.
