    I don't recall taking the taint, but I do remember being mildly amused at that legs at 11 and 1 with knees tucked under shoulders and hands wrapped around her curled up little feet thing she was doing.

    Bewildered, has anything come of your aunt-nun drama? Or, have any humorous exchanges with her over the years?

    The closest thing I have is my great-aunt's son. He's a baptist preacher. Her funeral was basically an hour long baptist sermon....it was my first and last.

    Nah. I smoothed over everything with her yesterday. I answered all her accusations kindly and politely and didn't add anything to the mix to aggravate her further.

    She's just old (70s). She tends to jump to conclusions and form hard-fast opinions too soon.

    She's not your stereotypical nun. She doesn't live in a convent or anything. She lives in a house and worked for many years in a regular job, for many years as a teacher, then for awhile at a hospital, and then later at a vet clinic. I was really close with her growing up and used to spend the night at her house all the time during the summers and over weekends. I really love her a lot and I guess that's why her angry phone call hurt me so much.
