Re: The Fappening Yep, enforcement is fucked by the Streisand Effect, try to stop people looking at naked photos of celebrities and all you do is draw further attention and notoriety to those photos. I think the main attraction to seeing these pictures is the perverse voyeurism of it. We can see beautiful women in pornography whenever we want, but this is creating an internet storm. This is trending so intensely because of the ability to peer into the extremely private lives of these people that our society worships so intensely. People want to know that celebrities are just like us and by seeing them at their most intimate and vulnerable they feel like they are bringing these famous people down to the status of a normal person. There's a bit of schadenfreude to being able to see these women naked and say "HA! What an idiot taking those photos! See they're just like us". I bet there are as many straight women with no sexual interest in JLaw/Kate Upton downloading and passing these around as there are neckbeards jerking off right now. Don't get me wrong, I'm looking at all the photos too, but you have to accept that there's an element of ill will and schadenfreude in doing it.
I think at some level it's about the tease. EVERYWHERE you look you see hot celebs flaunting their tits and ass in barely concealing outfits, cashing in on their sexuality, teasing audiences endlessly with a "you'd just LOVE to see, wouldn't you?" attitude. This almost feels like some sort of reckoning where the goods are finally delivered, and everyone finally gets to see. It's like teasing a dog with a scrap of meat, only to unintentionally drop it in front of him... it's not like he's going to not eat it. Not saying it's right, or justified, just that it might be a factor.

Honestly, there is no moral quandary in my mind vexing me as to the nature in which the pictures were obtained, even though there should be. Something like this is an inevitable result of the rise of social media and demand for intimate content. It's silly but the only "just like us" moment is seeing this baseball players very normal sized wiener banging Kate Upton.

I'm just saying they took the risk that they would be exploited and it has happened. I'm not saying that if someone sold pics of my tits to a tabloid, they would not be a complete asshole. I'm just saying that I took that risk. Hopefully the worst that would happen is that a bunch of people would see my tits. I'd be more worried about what would be taken away from me. Hopefully in this case these actresses would not suffer.
From everything that isn't hysterical that I can find at the moment, seems like it was an iCloud hack. It wasn't a 4chan leak, it was another anon image board, but one I'd never fucking heard of. And if JLaw's facial video is real, I will feel incredibly guilty while I jerk off too it, because it's an awful invasion of privacy... But dayum.

Society lauds these women for careers that were, at least partially, created out of their beauty, so when we have a chance to see them naked we feel entitled to breach their privacy. We certainly feel intensely driven to do so. And yeah, I think there's a few million men looking at those photos of Kate Upton's dude's wang and saying "Ha, he's nothing special. Awesome." Then feeling really weird that they just did that.
JLaw's people confirmed her stuff is real, Mary E. Winstead herself said her photos are real and went on the offensive on social media sites about it.
Leaking celebrity nudes won't change a thing. Leaking politicians scandalous photos will. Watch what happens when a photo comes out of Harry Reid going balls deep on some intern. Shit will change then.

But if they willingly take nudes and some neck beard chances onto them, my give a fuck meter stays at zero for as of yet unexplainable reason. Now what that dude did with Erin Andrews, stalking her hotels changing out her peep holes? THAT is some line crossing shit. I don't think they confirmed the video stuff. I saw one that could be with no sound, and the other was some cockney accented bitch that certainly wasn't her. Upton has a reverse cowgirl video where you don't see her face but looks enough like the rest of the nude photos to call it her.

To clarify, I have no doubt that the content I've seen so far is real, but on reddit, there were rumours of a facial video of JLaw, and a few maybe stills that people suggested were of a facial but were blurry as fuck and unclear. I just ... Really want to see the full video so I can feel just awful about it.
