This week I've spent over 6 hours and $200 at the vet. I'm so drained that I just want to get a good buzz. Unfortunately, I'm so behind on the 6 hours I missed of class that I can't drink. Boo.
Coke zero for me. I tried The Kraken rum last weekend, didn't care for it much. EDIT: Also, why has no one ever told me that 30 Rock was fucking hilarious? I've made it through a season and a half in just a couple of days.
Just saw this chrome Lamborghini on my way to the gym. I wanted to get closer for a better picture, but he sped off. Probably in a hurry to go pick up his award for having a huge penis.
You have to be in a certain mood for Kraken. Its a good rum for late night poker games and the like. Sipping on a summer afternoon? Naa. Sailor Jerry is subtle enough where you dont pay much but you still feel like youre drinking like an adult.
I've never tried Sailor Jerry. Last time I was with someone who was drinking it, he ended up stealing a bunch of muffins from a gas station and then threw them all at a cop car as hard as he could. The cop wasn't in the car, thankfully. Sailor Jerry: Not even once.
There is some kind of fancy meeting happening in the conference room. They have already put out some treats of pecan bars and lemon squares for us, but since there's a wall of windows between us we can see that the meeting's still going on with a lot of awesome catered food. I keep poking my head up to look over my little cubicle wall to see if their meeting is over, and it is exactly like this: Someone always notices, too.
I have been out of town the past three weekends and there is an unopened bottle of Cutty Sark in the cabinet. Awww shit.
Since I trust this place when it comes to booze, I thought I'd ask here. We want to get my fad some really good tequila for his margaritas, because he loves them. Any suggestions?
I don't know a ton about Tequilas, but my understanding is that for a really good margarita you want to use a silver tequila that is 100% agave. Also, in my experience, the best margaritas are lime juice, Cointreau (orange liqueur, Grand Marnier is too much for margaritas), and your tequila of choice.
What's your budget? My standby is Don Julio, simply because it's the best bang-for-the-buck that's readily available. Casa Noble is great if you can find it; and if you're going top shelf it's hard to beat Reserva de la Familia (Jose Cuervo).
Wooooo the meeting's over and I got me a roast beef sandwich and pasta salad wooooo best Friday night ever woooooo
You are making me miss my art museum security guard job. I used to work at after-hours events and receptions and would often get leftovers from the caterers. We ate some kick ass food some nights. Oh, and I still can't stand the taste of tequila. We just don't get along.
