Should I chalk that up as a forfeit then Nett? I was working on my celebration dance but I can save it for later if you're giving up.

I for one, am excited to take on Blue Drees, armed with nothing more than irrational confidence and the quixotic hope that Alshon Jeffrey will actually play a goddamn game.

<Sigh>.... Its not easy being first place in BOTH leagues, but what can you do. I will say that I'm really looking forward to playing myself in the end-of-year/winner-take-all/inter-league championship game, though. I know that I've got a tough squad, but I'm pretty sure that I can take me. I'm not going down without a fight, so I'd better watch out.

    With that being said...

MYA'S TEAM IS TERRIBLE AND SHE'S NEVER WASHED HER BELLY BUTTON.

NOM'S TEAM IS OBJECTIONABLE AND HE LIKES TO SMELL OTHER PEOPLE'S HATS AFTER THEY WEAR THEM.

That moment when you accidently press accept on a trade because your baby only allowed you 3 hours sleep. Can it be cancelled or vetoed or whatever?

Wait, YOU don't wanna do that trade?

Either way, I'm willing to veto it if it's an accident.

I've already got one gimpy wideout. Why do I need another when it'll cost me a RB that's ranked 3rd in the league right now, and a top 20 WR?

Yeah I vetoed because the note you wrote was adamantly no, so assumed you hit the wrong button.
Also vetoed Decker for Peyton because are you kidding me you crazy people

That's not how vetoes work. Just because you disagree with the trade doesn't make it an unfair or collusive one. Decker has a TD every game this season. Peyton is the 3rd (!) highest ranked QB on his roster alone.

Last year Brady was terrible this time of year and then turned it around. He's still Peyton Manning, so I'm calling COLLUSION

Vetoing because you're taking advantage of a terrible trader in iczorro. He needs to be protected from himself, or at least learn how to bargain.

I veto every single trade because I'm wondering if someone else will veto it and it'll get rejected for giggles. We talked about this last year, you can't yell at me again. It's double jeopardy. Also, all the trades are horrible.

Can we get a commissioner ruling? People blocking trades for no reason is against the spirit of the league IMO.

I thought veto-ing was for trades that were completely ridiculous or collusive. Not just trades that you think might make my team better.

Seriously? This is in your best interest. You're going to play Manning over Flacco? Are you insane? Manning is going to get worse as time goes on. He's falling apart and he's not going to have some resurgence. The Patriots problems were very cut and dry looking at the Xs and Os at the time. New O-Line, Gronk was unhealthy, 1 other functioning WR, no established running game. Peyton has no such excuse (he's never had a running game) he's simply falling off and missing throws with minimal pressure and open receivers. You can put a little blame on the OC, but not on straight-up missed balls. Save Decker for a better trade later, this one isn't getting you anywhere. Flacco is fully healthy and only has one team in his division to worry about.

AND on the flip side, if you just purely look at points, you're fleecing iczorro. That's not fair at all, he may not know it but everyone does. I'm fucking agreeing with MoreCowbell here, you know something is wrong.

Exactly which tenet of the spirit of the league is violated by people not letting you wantonly fuck someone in the ass? You're trading someone a WR3 for a QB1 straight up. That's horseshit and he should have gotten at least another low level starter-quality player out of you.

If for nothing else, even if I don't actually do it, saying I was going to veto was worth it to listen to nom whine to me like a toddler denied a candy bar.

I can worry about my own best interest! I might not even start Manning this week. I might not ever start Manning, but after dropping Kap, I needed some depth. Plus, on weeks where I need to throw up a big game, starting Flacco and Forsett is going to limit my upside since they have a slightly negative correlation.

You should be trying to get another RB then if that's the case. Because logically, Forsett is more likely to be injured and you need to improve there. Or look to improve on the other positions as match-ups are more important there than QB. Handing off some guy you picked up for 2 bucks for a QB1 is ridiculous.

You're right, but I'll still trade you Flacco for Dion Lewis, if you're willing.

It's worked out well for Jimmy, so far.

Decker for Manning is silly, but not egregiously so. I'm with Nom on this. If someone else agreed to a trade that other people perceive as "unfair," that's on him. We're all adults here. I didn't see you guys object to my Aaron Rodgers trade, as much as you were willing to tell me how "bad" it was.

I'd only veto if it turned out to be an accidental 'accept.' I'll veto the Julio trade for that reason.

For the record, I did in fact veto the Rodgers trade, as per my policy.
Let's take a moment to acknowledge my rightness...okay. Also, I will not trade you Flacco, Forsett and Cooks for Brady, Edelman and Lewis. Rejected. Publicly Rejected.
