Luckily, my friend who gave them to us also provided a ridiculous filter setup. There is zero smell.

Definitely going to get pet insurance set up. Easier to budget out the 35-60 a month than it is to deal with a sudden emergency cost like that.

My cousin's doggie died today. RIP Maxx. You were the bomb diggity dog (Maxx is the big golden retriever).

I got Buddy a harness. I think he's pretty friggin adorable in it. Plus he responds way better to this than to the collar. It takes a second longer to get ready to go outside but it is totally worth it.

Rip Maxx, golden's are sweet dogs (or bomb diggity dogs). And what is that little dog? It looks like a hybrid between my shelties and a bat!

For some reason I thought somebody told me he was a mix but Gator repped me about him being a papillon. I looked that breed up on wikipedia and I'm pretty certain that Kabo's a purebreed papillon. I'm not generally a fan of little dogs but he was a great playmate with Maxx. Kabo's super energetic and agile but not overly annoying and I always enjoy being around him.

Here's a pair of happy guys. The mutt on the left (Vader) is another adopted dog. His name is perfect.

Missy the Shih Tzu belongs to my girlfriends parents and could win a lap sitting contest. She doesn't do much else.

This isn't my dog, but feel like I should share this. I recently started following @CuteEmergency on Twitter (I have no idea how to provide a link on this device), and BAM! - puppies and other assorted animals on the regular. I cannot recommend it enough.

Max is now approaching 20 pounds.

    Spoilered for size.

So, we've also got a 4 year old chihuahua/dachsund mix who thinks she's Queen Shit. Max is a bit over 4 months. They're both essentially the same size. They fight constantly. Nothing serious, just lots of nipping, body checking, and hauling ass around the house. Is this normal? If not, what can I do to chill them mu'fuckas out? Max is slated to be snipped on July 3rd, so I'm hoping that's all it is.

Haahaahaahaaahaaa. Sorry, that's not very helpful, but having grown up with a chihuahua jack russell mix, and with the number of chihuahuas and daschunds my friends have, I think you're barking up the wrong tree there.
