I have a cat now because I'm too lazy and incompetent for a dog Spoiler (she's lost about two pounds since those pictures)
We had my brother's redbone coonhound Millie stay at our place last weekend, and I'm pretty sure Buck has a doggie crush on her now.
http://mom.me/baby/20255-cancer-survivor-makes-short-film-honor-his-beloved-dog/ I'm just going into a meeting but wanted to throw this up. TISSUE ALERT! I warned you.
And weighing in at 62 pounds (a 50 pound gain) at 7 months Copper she has been a handful but we would not trade her for anything.
I don't mean to be a Debby Downer, but it's been pretty much proven those mail-in dog DNA tests are useless. http://news.vin.com/VINNews.aspx?articleId=23206 That said, couple of friend's dogs, from first to last: David's current kept pup from his last litter, a Irish Wolfhound/Alaskan Malamute/North American wolf mix pup named Lobo with his mom Boudicca (pure Irish Wolfhound) and uncle Grizzly (Alaskan Malamute/Irish Wolfhound), Nami and Fionna the Kishu Ken (Nami is the brown dog, Fionna the white), Sage the English Shepherd, Flint the West Siberian Laika, Astrid the Central Asian Shepherd and finally Conker, the Shiba Inu:
It's take your dog to work day. I mean, that's what everybody else does when you are solo at the office babysitting the carpet cleaners, right? He'll take his coffee black, hold the beans please.
Look at this retard. It just sits there looking at me like that. Least, I think it is looking at me. I can't tell because it looks like Peter Lorre. I'm watching it until Friday. My cousin named it Piquito, but I've renamed it "Ass Eyes." So far she hasn't learned. This is a needy, needy, way too sweet dog. Doesn't bark at all. If it didn't stop shivering I'd guess it was catatonic.
Sad news. My blonde dog, Hogan, had dominance issues I just couldn't break. I surrendered him to the SPCA on Saturday after a pretty violent, unprovoked tussle with my small dog Fin. He was adopted out the next day to a household with no other dogs and a country property. I hope he has a great life - I'm sad we couldn't provide it for him.
I'd take solace in the fact that you always have the best intentions for your dogs and ultimately did the right thing for everyone. I'm sure Hogan will love his new family and life out in the country!
