This is the old dog, Tucker (named after Darcy). One time on one of his many escapes he returned home with a fully cooked chicken which he proceeded to eat on our front lawn. Best dog.
Everyone has been posting pictures of mammals, so here is a picture of one of my two ball pythons, Tenga. I'd show them both, but my son and I are the only ones who can tell them apart. They are named Tenga 1 and Tenga 2 (Teng 1 and Teng 2, get it?! Yeah, I'm lame. I know). I got Tenga 1 about 2 years ago when a friend of mine was moving and didn't have room for her. After having her for about 6 months, she escaped, and I didn't find her until new year's eve of 2009. My son and I tore the house apart for a couple of months trying to find that snake, only finding a couple of skin sheddings. Then new years eve morning, she was on my old record player like nothing happened. During that time, ANOTHER friend of mine gave me a snake when HE moved, and since I figured the first Tenga was gone for good, I just named the new snake Tenga. Anyway, this is Tenga 2 about to strike at a mouse (the mouse is the white bump sticking up behind the water bowl).
My uncle got another border collie for my family's dairy farm. It won't be too long until he can herd holsteins and understand everything my grandfather tells him. For now, he's effing cute.
Jake belongs to the guy I'm seeing... he came up dragging his chain, was very skinny and very obviously been neglected by someone. He kept him and a year later, this handsome fella is the sweetest dog ever.
In the theme of German Shepherds, this is my boyfriend's new pup Gretchen. She's 6 weeks old in the first picture and about 11 weeks in the second. The third picture is his other Shepherd who's 4 years old and the new one. She weighs about 80 lbs. The vet said the little one will get to be about 100 lbs. Best. Dogs. Ever.
Bowser. He's 20 pounds of hyperactive terror, but he's handsome enough that you can't stay mad at him.
Summer is coming, and in honour of that we had a haircut today! Before, looking distinguished: And after, ashamed of himself. But with a badass mohawk!
These are my ex girlfriends 2 Alaskan Malamutes... both are incredibly powerful, and smart dogs. Male (Top) is Phoenix, Female (Bottom) is Chloe. And thats me... hungover, wearing rapist pants.
I found out today that the love of my life has a tumor near his brain. After starting to lose my mind, I found out that it's very common in older dogs, and treatable if it turns out malignant. That's really fucked up, though. How the hell do you go up to a dog lover and say your dog has brain cancer? If it's that common, very treatable, and not often that fatal, why the hell can't you call it something else?
Yeah, it is pretty common, my family had an English Springer Spaniel that had the same thing. She was about a month shy of being 15 years old so she had quite a few other health problems that were topped off with the malignant tumor so we decided to put her down.
Apologies in advance if this doesn't work, (the picture in question is loaded as a bmp on my wife's facebook page, so I've attached it as a .jpg) but our dog Swarley graduated from puppy training class last weekend, and I love this picture of him. He's about ten months now, and we've had him for 4 of those, and he is the best dog ever. We had to do our first weekend away while he was in a kenel this weekend, and he was apparently quite a hit at the kennel. Color me a proud puppy papa.
Special Request by lil' Miss Pinkcup: (I know you requested a ball+water, but a stick will have to do for now) (My little brother- not me) (Tex is now pooped)
The kitten I found in my laundry room is growing up. Pictured here bestowing divine blessings to another feline soul, lost in the wild. CAN YOU SEE THE LIGHT? CAN YOU SEE THE LIGHT?
