I'd rather have dealt with that than the cone of shame our St. Bernewfie had to wear after we spayed her. CoS on a large dog sucks...she bashed that thing off of and took out everything with it.

Got to visit a favorite spot before it is time to leave, the environmental studies center. They rehab local animals but keep the ones not suitable for release for educational purposes. I love seeing all the animals. Hawks, eagles, owls, pelicans, the deer Clara, the alligator, and the world's fattest racoon. They added bees recently too. I think the tern is my new favorite creature. That smart little guy clearly wanted to communicate with us (give me food!) The carp in this water are bigger than the damned geese. If you're already in the area, it's a neat place to go for a walk in the woods and see a protected pitcher plant bog.

Mike Dawes is awesome. New song just dropped.

If you're not familiar with his playing style, this is just him playing live... all the parts at once. He also did some amazing stuff while he toured with Tommy Emmanuel.

He's also a really nice guy. I bought a bunch of his music to help support him, and the dude emailed me personally. We chatted back and forth for a few weeks while he was touring.

    Fan for life.

Go watch this video if you want to understand how he gets that sound... he has a specially built (more specially mic'd) guitar that has different outputs to different effects to do bass, percussion, etc.

    It's incredible.
