Apparently I need to rep more people because....again....I was going to rep you and it said I needed to spread the rep around first. But anyway, the hair looks awesome and your lips would be the type of lips I would ask for if I was in a plastic surgeons office looking through a big book of lip options.
Ditto. I tried to rep you as well, to no avail. I wish I could let my hair grow out like that. I always get mad and cut my hair before it gets close to that length.
Thanks! There was some kid in middle school who told my mother (??) that I had "luscious lips." El husband was told this story by my mom and now he calls me Luuuuuuuscious Lips. I got mad with long hair and got a short boyish cut and I cried for a week. It was terrible. Never again.
See, I like your haircut. But my hair just won't do that. Is that your natural part, or did the lady at the salon make your hair do that with fancy sprays and gels and stuff? EDIT: What I mean is...your hair is parted on the side, but there's no "hair hump" from your side part. Yours is flat against your head. Is that natural or manufactured? Also, you're pretty.
I have several parts but that is the main one and that is just the way it looks. She only cut it, she didn't even wash it or anything.
ARRRRGGH if they don't wash mine, I look like People of WalMart. Some people get all the good hair genes...
I got 99 problems and hair is usually one. Hair always looks better after they cut it and play it in, and then the magic wears off in a couple days.
Add me to the list of mouth jealousy. Your haircut looks amazing! Good haircuts are always so hard to find, but you've managed it.
I'm looking at buying The Husband a shaving kit for Christmas. I want to get him a straight razor. Anyone have any suggestions?
A straight razor or a double edged safety razor? Because one is significantly easier to use and gives you just as close a shave without the constant near death experience.
I don't have any specific recommendations for you shimmered, but seem to recall a pretty lengthy and comprehensive shaving thread about a year or so ago. If you can track it down, I bet you would find more info than you ever knew you wanted.
That's cool. Just make sure you have your affairs in order if he's not already proficient in how to use one.
http://www.classicshaving.com/Home.html Is where I got both my safety razor and straight razor, and everything to go with it. Anything they sell should be good. *edit* Also, try and buy one pre-honed, from a company that knows what they're doing. You're never going to hone it on your own, and most knife sharpening places butcher the blade. I got a dovo, and it's great. You'll need to get a strop and oil with it, possibly a stone as well. Oh, and a styptic pencil, or ten, for the bleeding. It's been almost a year and I'm still learning how to do my chin without cutting it. I should warm you though. A straight razor requires a lot of work, both into learning how to shave with it, and upkeep of it. The upkeep turned out to be more work than the shave, mostly since I had little experience with blade upkeep of any kind. I genuinely though I would use mine more than I did, but it ended up being too much works to be anything other than a once in a while type of thing.
