have any of you ladies cut your hair into a pixie then grown it out? If so, how did you get through the awkward not really mom hair but kind of pseudo dowdy androgynous lesbian phase? This sucks.
I've whittled it down a bit. Spoiler I got extensions. My hair used to be spiky short and the growing out stage was just awful, so I got them to put in extensions to my shoulders until my hair grew to a length that wasn't horrendous.
I've considered extensions. I don't know if I want to spend the money on them right now though. I'm actually just considering wearing a beanie for the next two months, but I can't do that when I go out. Ugh. Stupid hair. Either want it to be super short rock star pixie or long. In between sucks.
You started out asking advice from the ladies, and I don't qualify. But, since I follow this thread in case one of you accidentally asks for advice on how you look naked, I'll chime in. I dig that dress and agree with 'wildered. Second choice would be the next to last ones.
I'm in between also, clip in extensions are awesome for going out. My hair is hitting my shoulders now and more versatile but there was a couple months I rocked them non stop. A good set will run you $150 or so.
Angel, I like the second to last ones also. Or a pair of black patent leather heels would also be awesome. Also, shimmered, extensions all the way. I some semi-permanent ones (like 4 months) 6 years ago after I had a very traumatic short haircut experience and they were worth every penny. I think those were around $600. Now again, as I'm waiting for my real hair to grow I invested in some really good clip-in extensions ($550).
Question for anyone on Pinterest: I just want a website where I can collect all the blogs, articles and pictures I follow in one place. Can Pinterest do that, or can you only pin pictures?
Evernote is probably what you are looking for. It is stored offline, but can be shared/synced between different devices.
Just a quick update on the watch question and a big thank you to all who responded. I gave him the blue TW Steel that I posted and he LOVES it. I mentioned that I was worried that he would think I was cheaping out because I didn't spring for the Tag. However, he actually said he didn't want a Tag because this one is a little bit different and he didn't want the same that everybody else has (I get it, same reason why I wouldn't get a Louis Vuitton if I had a cool grand to blow on a bag). He likes the blue face and band, and even likes the rose gold. It looks good on him, although I am still not 100% convinced on the oversized thing.
I downloaded it, and I'm having a tough time seeing how you save website links. Essentially I want a Pinterest board that will, in one place, show pictures, websites and articles. Am I missing something?
Are there any good Cyber Monday sales? The one I was most excited about was Aldo but their selection is meh.
You mean you're not feeling this little beauty? Spoiler What the fuck is this? Seriously. What the fuck?
That shoe looks retarded. Literally. As in, if shoes were anthropomorized, that one would have Down's Syndrome.
Ok, so I thought I would be a stud and buy some new shoes for my Fiancee. (Also, she looks hot in heels so I like to buy them for her) Here are three options I've decided on, any opinions? Spoiler
Love the blue, hate the suede. But that's personal preference as I hate the curved front. They tend to throw your body forward with each step, so all I can picture is a woman walking fast on her toes, trying to catch her balance. Actually kind of funny. I like the black also, but the color of the blue is great.
I'd be wary of buying shoes for another... fit is always a concern. And how they feel. A pretty shoe that sits on the shelf because it's too uncomfortable to wear is a travesty.
Get a gift receipt, the way clothes, shoes especially, feel when you wear them is very important. That being said, the blue ones are fun and cute and my favorite, but the black ones are sexy and would probably get more use since black heels go with everything.
You could also look in her closet and find a brand she favors. Plus the gift receipt. The blue are fun. Sure, the black may be worn more, but I bet she already has black shoes.
I ended up going with the blue ones. She already has a pair of the exact same brand and style but in red, so I know they'll fit and that she likes them. She's also mentioned that she wanted some blue color heels, so there ya go.
