Please, Please help me? Please? I was looking to get a good hair straightener for my wife as I thought it would be a relatively easy item to research. Aaaaahhhhhhhhh! I have never seen so much contradictory, bullshit information on anything in my life. I have purchased cars and tv's with less trouble. Spend $200, the more expensive the better. Spend $40, you don't need to spend a lot on hair straighteners. It pulls my hair; it doesn't pull my hair. It falls apart; it's the best quality ever. It's too hot; it's not hot enough. Every list I have found gives completely different top 5 picks. It is the most ridiculous product ever made, fuck hair straightening. Does anyone have any advice at all they could offer? Anyone?
A lot depends on your wife's hair type. Curly and thick? Wavy and fine? Also, how much will she be using it? Does she straighten it every day? Or just for special occasions? Once you have that figured out, go from there.
It's like anything else, the more you spend the better quality and overall finished product you'll get. So, spend the extra scratch and don't cheap out. It WILL fall apart, it WILL do a shit job which means it'll take her forever to do the job she wants. Straighteners should always be ceramic too. The one I have I got from my hairdresser and is wonderful although I cannot remember the brand. Maybe you should give her hairdresser a call and ask her. Normally they can simply order one for you from a beauty supply shop, with a little discount too.
I just bought this for my girlfriend off amazon and she loves it so far. $40 off from $300, apparently. <a class="postlink" href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001MA0QY2/ref=oh_details_o03_s00_i03" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001MA ... 03_s00_i03</a>
Ladies not sure where to look, I asked the google and they are no help but I would like to find this because evidently this is something my wife wants, it is made by coach but I can't find a picture or model that looks like it.
Want to know an awesome trick? If you go to Google, and click on the Images tab at the top, you can drag and drop an image from your computer right into Google Image search. With that said, what you're looking for is a Coach Felicia Leather Slim Duffle. Looks like you might be shit outta luck though, as it is not a new item, and even ebay doesn't appear to have any new ones.
Damn, that is a nice bag. Do you think she's the "I only want that exact bag" type of lady or would she mind something that's similar? Looking through the Coach site there are a few different options that have the same kind of look and characteristics to them.
I think I have that same bag but in ivory. Let me do some investigating to see if I can find the coach style name. I like that color much better than te ivory I have! Oh and I think I have a coupon at home for 25% off if you would like the code
I am sure she would be happy with something similar, but I could not tell you what makes something similar to this particular one but I would like to find her something in the same ball park and color. Mya, I would love a coupon code.
Anyone have a suggestion on a frame style that would suit my face? I've had mine for a couple years and it is time for a change.
The site is weird and doesn't seem to have direct links to individual bags, but here are a few options: Legacy leather molly satchel Legacy leather rory satchel Legacy leather medium or large candace carryall Legacy leather tanner tote Madison leather juliette Madison leather carrie Madison leather isabelle Madison leather tote Bleecker legacy leather weekend tote
Check out this guy's inventory if you want something in the retro/vintage look. I've ordered from him and was very satisfied. Quality frames, good prices, fast delivery. http://optometristattic.com/
Thanks for the link. I especially like that the specific dimensions are included. I have a wide face and a lot of women's frames look silly on me.
I haven't used it, but I heard good things about Warby Parker. They're an online service that'll send you five pairs, and you return those you don't like (including all five if you don't like any of them).
Both my daughter (27) and my son (20) have gotten glasses through Warby Parker with great success. You pick out the frame you like out of the pairs they send you, send them a script and you get glasses for $99.
Ladies, what do you think of this hairstyle? Spoiler I wouldn't get it shorter in the back as I hate that style, but I like the rest. Why am I asking strangers their opinion? Because when I asked my husband all I got was, "Are you going to get the dark roots too?" Sigh.
