The final episode just dropped today and without spoiling it, I will say that it's worth a watch. Definitely better than how they ended the previous final season and there's no lumberjack scene at the end to piss everyone off.
I'm going to this weekend. I thought he nailed the character in The Suicide Squad. Spoiler: The Suicide Squad Spoiler At the time I had no idea he'd been spun off into a show, so I though it was odd for the credits scene to show him alive.
I think you'll enjoy it. It's a kind of odd mix of humor, darkness, unexpected depravity. Yeah I agree with your spoiler.
I'm watching the second Peacemaker episode now. The intro cracks me up every time. It's such a weird tone.
I'm halfway through episode 2 and it's fucking hilarious. Never mind I totally relate to the soundtrack.
Exactly. I've listened to every audiobook while working in the shop, and love them. The over-the-top modern day cowboy storytelling, and the narrator who does it justice.... lots of fun. But when you put all of that together, Tom Cruise is the last guy you think of. THIS guy, Alan Ritchson, looks like how the character is written. The trailer makes it look good, so here's hoping.
Woo, I'm excited for this! In the trailer, he delivers some of those wooden, curt responses that Reacher does in the books (Person: I'm sorry your brother died. Reacher: Not your fault.) really well. Cruise wasn't as good at that, in addition to being too short. I've read every one of these books. The last one Child wrote with his son gives me hope that the son can successfully continue them. I started reading them after like the 6th or 7th one was out, went to the library and checked them all out. About 6 novels ago, I was caught up, so the library always had a waiting list. I started just buying the hard cover new, then donating them to the library. I listen to a lot of audiobooks, but I've always enjoyed reading these actual books. They're so easy and fast.
It supposed to be based on the first book which is a good one. My only hope is that the dialogue on screen is not nearly as choppy as the dialogue in the book. I also hope it’s sufficiently violent. Reacher absolutely destroys people in the novels similar to the fights in Banshee.
