Yeah this looks like a lot of fun. I just want to see Reacher hulk people through walls and shit. Tom Cruise physically overpowering guys with 50lbs on him was odd.
That one scene where he grabs a hat and hides in a group of people at the bus stop after bailing from the car during a chase is as anti-Reacher as it gets. NO WAY you should be able to not see him in a crowd.
Yeah, I heard about that. I'm interested, for sure. They got some really good improv names to show up so I have to think it won't, for the most part, suck.
So yeah, I've binged 5 episodes tonight, and I'm fucking loving it. They've done a really, really good job, in my opinion.
Exactly. I've lost count the number of times I've thought "Tom Cruise couldn't have done that, but Reacher would, and DID." I'm really hoping they sign it up for more books/seasons.
They really cast a guy who looks exactly how he’s described by the author. Like how Timothy Dalton looked EXACTLY like Ian Fleming’s description of Bond.
Cool, I read that one like 20 years ago, so I don’t remember much beyond something about a lot of cash.
Just finished the series... I really enjoyed it. Sure, it's what you would expect in a few places, but it was a fun trip.
Re: Reacher, I'll add that she may be petite, but I'd like to offer that Willa Fitzgerald has perfect tits.
I also really liked it. I think it was casted really well. Each character was how I imagined them when reading the story. Especially Teale. I’m curious to know if it will get a second season and which book they will base it on.
Yeah, you have to think that it's going to be picked up for at least one more season... it's been really well received so far.
Surely. If they can do a season per book, they have a LOT of source material. It's been well-received, and it's Skydance Productions. I'd say there is better than 90% chance of more.
I was hesitant about John Cena, but he's killing it. And I had no idea he could Spoiler play the piano.
I looked up info about him after that scene. He really is a dynamic person. He also married someone he randomly met at a restaurant who is an engineer of some sort. Kind of reminds me of High Jackman. Just a normal cool dude doing his niche acting thing.
