Sorry to revive a dead thread, but I have to share these: http://hipsterhitler.com/ http://vladimirputinactioncomics.com/
This isn't so much a web-comic as a guy on the web editing a bunch of comics with the same punchline. http://www.robertsinclair.net/comic/asshole.html
Found one that disturbed the shit out of me. It's not a funny one. It's safe for work, but not safe for soul. Completely ruined my day. NSFW
I liked that short, so I looked up the webcomic, and there's a really nice 12 page story featuring Clarissa and her family, starting with <a class="postlink" href="http://www.whatisdeepfried.com/COMIX/Family/PAGE1.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.whatisdeepfried.com/COMIX/Family/PAGE1.html</a> I won't spoil it, but the conclusion is brilliant. There are a few other one shots I found featuring the scenario, but sadly, it gets old fast, with the same punchline used throughout.
I was surprised that nobody before KIM had mentioned SMBC. I'm even more surprised that nobody's mentioned Dinosaur Comics, which for my money (which is none), is better than xkcd.
I've found some comics that aren't so much a day to day funny, but the art is fantastic, and I've enjoyed reading them: http://www.lackadaisycats.com/ (The fact that it's cats almost made me not want to read, but she puts so much effort into it and it looks so good that it made me get over that fast) http://dresdencodak.com/ http://platinumgrit.com/ (still have no idea what's going on in this comic, keeps getting deeper and deeper into something that I just have to keep reading, and I love her drawing style later on)
