It looks like the one of the prototype stealths that was set to replace SR-71 .....and also: if there’s no volleyball game and no Kenny Loggins, there’s no point.
There is a new version of Danger Zone in the film, from what I remember reading earlier. But, the point is Monica Barbaro, which is all you need to know. If you've watched Stumptown, you know who she is, and she is straight fire.
John Wick 4 and The Matrix 4 will both be released on the same day in May 2021. Anybody who has watched both those series knows that John Wick is the better one. Neo never rode a horse.
I firmly believe all Jared Leto movies should approached with the same sort of caution that you would give to a testicle-eating Doberman. He’s sometimes brilliant. And other times, quite a few times, he just plain ruins shit.
Yeah, he ruined Suicide Squad and then was great in Blade Runner 2049. His shitty movies are more numerous than his good ones.
lol, there was a LOT more wrong with Suicide Squad than Jared Leto. He is not what ruined that movie.
Everything in that movie ruined that movie. It was like watching a clinic on how not to make a movie. Every character sucked. A rubber-stamped script with laughable dialogue. Cringey heard-it-a-thousand-times soundtrack. It made what, a billion dollars? Yet the DVDs went instantly into the car wash/dollar store bins. For good reason. ...and the response to the critical backlash is to make a “woke” sequel starring the character who doesn’t even REMOTELY resemble her comic counterpart. Good thinking, kids.
He stole Dallas Buyers Club, I’m sorry. Wooderson earned his Oscar but Leto earned it more as a walking corpse of a human being. He was realistic to a soul-shattering level in that film.
So it looks like Hollywood is taking another crack at Dune. The original came out in 1984 and got panned pretty hard. In my opinion it was a better movie than the reviews suggest, but there's a few spots where the special effects really look like shit, and the movie itself feels extremely rushed. A lot of story elements that seem like they're supposed to be important (like Paul and Chani's relationship) get hardly any screen time at all. Apparently it was shot to be a 3.5 hour movie and then the studio made Lynch cut it all the way down to 2 hours. It was so much taken out he had to go back and reshoot some of the scenes in order to simplify the story. If you aren't familiar with Dune it's something like if Star Wars met Game of Thrones and they took a bunch of acid together. I haven't read the books, mainly because it sounds like such psychedelic mumbo jumbo, but with the new movie coming out and since I hear from everyone how good they are I'm going to try to get around to it. In any case, it seems like the movie has what it needs to have a good chance at succeeding. Pretty strong cast, a large budget, a good director (same guy who did Blade Runner 2049) and it's actually going to be split into two movies so hopefully they won't have to gloss over major plotlines like the original did. For the moment it's set to come out in December of this year.
Well the release of the new James Bond film has been pushed back to November. That stinks. At least A Quiet Place II still comes out in 2 weeks.
