it looks as though he’s finally accepting his fucking age about two decades too late. Look forward to him adding nothing to this, as he has never added to anything anywhere, at any any time. He’s one of those “celebrities” like Downtown Julie Brown or Mr. Blackwell where I just think “How or WHY would I even know this person’s name???”
I can't remember if anyone every posted this. I think it's ready to go, but was scheduled for a December release. Maybe they'll move it up if theatres return, since so many others were pushed back. Looks fun.
I absolutely have no interest in this one. At least from watching the trailers. The “living in a video game” thing is already tired to me, and Reynolds is gong to become the next straight-to-video ex-blue chip if he keeps doing these forgettable, high-budget CGI deals. I don’t know why he has to be in action films so much, he’s talented and likeable enough to carry other kinds of films. That’s just me. It could be fun, but the trailers don’t do it for me.
I'm not sure how this is coming to VOD, exactly. I'm not going to pay $19.99 for it or anything, but it's probably worth watching.
Looks so good. Amazing how Robert Pattinson starring in a movie went from being met with an eye roll to intrigue in less than a decade.
Considering his earlier films included Twilight, Water for Elephants and Remember Me, those eye rolls were well fucking deserved. Brad Pitt was the same way at the beginning. Instead of awesome roles like Kalifornia getting everyone’s attention, he became a star via Uber-melodramatic, pretty-boy horseshit such as Interview With The Vampire and Legends Of The Fall.
His interactions with (actual) stalker Twilight fans are hilarious. He would eventually confront the stalkers then take them out on a date and essentially bore them to death until they stopped bothering him. As far as performances, his role in The Lighthouse is amazing.
He is an excellent actor in the right role. A lot of them are, but are constantly mired in shit. Look at Stephen Dorff: he stole the last season of True Detective while playing the less-important role of “the partner” he was brilliant and utterly real. Before that..... yeesh. LOTS of shitty roles and obnoxious performances where he was constantly trying to be “cool”.
Dude, don’t even. That was the douchiest shit in the entire recorded history of douchey shit. Walking in b&w video on the beach with his fucking James Dean jacket on blowing smoke rings.....*shudder*. EDIT: Oh shit, it’s on YouTube. To those unfamiliar, my gift:
The are making a bonafide sequel to Kung Fury, costarring Michael Fassbender as “Colt Magnum” and Arnold Schwarzenegger as the President Of The United States. The original, in case to unfortunately missed out:
Im stoked William Saddler is back as Death. I loved the 2nd movie. Is it me or does Keanu actually starting to look like he's had work done? So many ageless post about him. Something doesnt seem quite right.
