Spoiler: NSFW And she is the new Harley Quinn...which is the first time HQ is in a movie. This shit is shaping up to be fascinating....
I'm excited for Jurassic World, those who aren't, are taking dinosaurs way too seriously. Once the dinosaur cat came out the bag with the first one, the only way to get people to care is to escalate shit over and over again. People have trained lions, elephants, bears, why not Raptors? And of course they made a genetically modified super dinosaur, why not? I'm all in on board. And only Jared Leto has the balls to even attempt to be the new Joker, post Heath. What he did in Dallas Buyer's Club was incredible. That guy is so goddamn talented regardless what you could possibly think of him. The thing I'd be most worried about is MR HOLMES. I want that movie to be so damn awesome, and it makes me sad because you really get to see how old he is. It saddens me that Morgan Freeman, Jack Nicholson, Ian McKellan, Michael Cain and Patrick Stewart are getting so far up there. Thank god people will always make movies for them, but they're just so damn good. Jack hasn't done anything recently, but still.
I am not a George Clooney fan. Prior to going to the IMAX on Saturday to see Avengers, I had never heard of this movie. But, it actually looks like it's pretty cool:
Look at this steaming pile of bullfuck. They managed to ripoff Dark Knight Rises, XXX, possibly Les Miserables, some of the Bourne flicks, but succeeded in not actually ripping off the movie they're ripping off. That is a whole new level of fail. However, this guy appears to be an even worse actor than Keanu. So they got one thing right. Why even call it Point Break? It is not a hot property. The only nostalgia lies with the people that realize Point Break is The Citizen Kane of the 90s and they will not line up to see this. I have made so many PB jokes in the past couple years, but nobody has one clue what I'm talking about. Old Man rant over. Lawn. Off it.
This book was one of my favorite books as a kid. They already changed the plot completely, so who knows.
Danny Boyle and Aaron Sorkin's take on a Steve Jobs biopic. Interesting cause its not as rosy and lavishly positive. Ive always been of the mind that Jobs was an asshole and the cult of personality around him was a bit much. Fassbender looks like he killed it. Not entirely sure how I feel about another movie in the Rocky canon, but its a different take and Michael B. Jordan is fucking awesome.
