Han Solo prequel http://www.starwars.com/news/christopher-miller-and-phil-lord-to-helm-han-solo-anthology-film
I'll definitely keep my eye on that one... that aspect of the Star Wars universe has always held the most appeal to me.
And I thought Lucas couldn't saturate the market with more Star Wars. They have what 25 planned films now? It looks like Abrams might do it justice, at least more than he did Star Trek.
The Steve Jobs one looks really good. Another great one is Pirates of Silicon Valley. It was a made for TV movie, was but excellent. Noah Wiley is still the best Jobs portrayal Ive seen. As for the Rocky movie- the 6th one was actually pretty good, and this one looks good too. Im glad Stallone is not strapping the gloves on again since hes pushing 70 at this point.
Stallone also didn't strap on the gloves for Rocky V. He was retired in that and it came out 25 years ago. It DID have a badass street fight, though. One more round, Tommy. My ring's outside.
The script is going to just have to be absolutely awful for this to not be the highest grossing movie of all time.
I don't know what to make of it. So Batman wants to take out Superman because he doesn't trust him. Well, it at least looks neat. Plenty of opportunity to destroy New York. Again. Also don't hate Affleck so far. Bring it.
He's also writing the new standalone Batman film. Given his directing track record, it should be awesome. And Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman. Damn son.
The new heroes and their costumes are perfectly done. Gadot looks amazing, and Jason Mamoa is a fucking badass-looking Aquaman, which worried me at first because the comic costume is pure faggotry. Fucking Lex Luthor. Shitty comic book character, shitty movie character, he. Fucking. Sucks. I'm sure there will be some sort of murderous real estate scam involving him, you'll never convince me that he brings anything to a story. If Gene Hackman and Kevin Spacey can't do anything with him, why even try at all?
Ive never been a huge comic book fan, it seems Hackman and Spacey both played a campy character. I think Eisenberg's take looks much more interesting so far.
http://digg.com/video/deadpool-trailer-leaked-sdcc Deadpool looks actually...good? Funny? I'm excited. "You look like Freddy Kruegger face-fucked a topographical map of Utah." "Like a testicle with teeth.." Suicide Squad looks to be decent as well. http://digg.com/video/jared-leto-joker-leaked
Does look good outside of Will Smith. God I can see the legion of Hot Topic freaks seeing the face of god in this movie.
The only characters I recognize are Joker, Harley Quinn (Goddamn), and Batman. I think that might be a problem, because there's fucking 8 random weirdos in this film that I'm supposed to know, or get an origin story? Couple that with the Superman trailer that focuses on people protesting...Superman because...he's an illegal....alien. Right...... DC is officially fucking this up.
