Yeah, I didn't structure that sentence well - I have nothing against Ryan Reynolds and he seems cast well. I just meant that if it turns out the movie isn't any good and that he doesn't play it well, I won't care because Morena Baccarin.
I cannot wait for it to be released. He is fucking hot and can laugh me into the sack anytime. He can even bring Blake along. Not the baby though, what a buzzkill.
Did no on else think the humor was a bit obnoxious though? I mean there are ways to do do sophomoric humor, but this seemed so forced.
That's a good point, but Morena Baccarin. Ha. It didn't seem that way to me. I thought it was a nice change of pace from the 18 billion super hero movies that are out. I am not that familiar with the comic, but it's pretty consistent with that.
I think it's the first R-rated Marvel comic movie since the Blade trilogy, and like that character Deadpool is a deranged maniac but instead of stoic he's off the wall. Any effort to erase that fucking Wolverine origins movie and what they did with the character in it is a service to mankind. What a chunk of shit that movie was.
Some are calling this the scariest trailer ever made. I don't know about that, but it certainly got my attention.
http://collider.com/predator-sequel-shane-black-movie-will-reinvent-the-franchise/ I want to like it, but really another sequel/reboot, cant they die already.
Let's be fair. "Jackman collaborated on the script, which he wanted to be more of a character piece compared with the previous X-Men films. Skip Woods, who had written Hitman for Fox, was later hired to revise and rewrite Benioff's script. Benioff aimed for a "darker and a bit more brutal" story, writing it with an R rating in mind, although he acknowledged the film's final tone would rest with the producers and director."
If that movie is successful the Academy Awards is going to be like a drunk Oprah. "YOU GET AN OSCAR, YOU GET AN OSCAR, AND YOU GET AN OSCAR". I had to watch the trailer twice because the first time I was like "Holy shit they got that dude! And then they got her! Oh shit they got him too? Oh fuck, really they stacked it with her too?"
The casting of Damon is pitch perfect I think. The ability to deliver the sense of humor in an affable way that makes the book so readable is key and Damon has that. Can't wait!
This is the trailer of the year. Straight up creepy as hell. This is the horror flick I need to see this year. Please don't suck.
