I cannot imagine anyone else playing Wolverine... he fit the role so perfectly. I have to think they'd just fuck it up if they got anyone else to try to resurrect the role.

Word is that Wolverine will be done for a while and that they'll be going forward with X-23.

I'm assuming they are doing the Old Man Logan storyline. Under hypnosis, Logan murders all the X-Men and has to remind Charles Xavier, who suffers from dementia, what happened. X-23 is a clone of Logan and eventually assumes the name, "Wolverine."

The trailer makes a lot of sense with that in mind.

This could be awful or awesome. I'm going to gravitate to the latter since everyone is back and Danny Boyle is directing. Mebbe being Scottish isn't shite after all.

Being a big fan of the graphic novels, this looks fucking awesome:

The Fifth Element is one of my top 5 favourite movies of all time... this looks like it could have a similar impact.

Always been a fan... hopefully they don't fuck it up.

Really glad to see some apparently high-quality sci-fi coming down the pipe.

I'm in. I dont even know what these movies are about anymore and I dont really care, they are entertaining as Hell. I would like to show someone the first film and then this one and see them try to figure out what the hell happened in between.

The last one made a shit-ton of money. When was the last time a 7th entry in a film series clocked in at $1.5 Billion in revenue (aside from Star Wars).

    It's about La Familia.

I usually describe them from the set pieces prominant in the film. Oww thats the one with the bank vault being dragged through the streets, thats the one with the plane that takes 15 minutes to lift off, they jump three building etc. Im sure it will do well, not sure if the last one didnt get a decent boost from the morbid curiosity with Paul Walker.

I think this is by far the most insane fuck reality moments of the whole franchise, a personal favorite moment of mine:

Maybe it will be like the fourth Exorcist movie where they did the same script and actors, but shot the movie with an entirely different production team.

I dunno. I heard th same thing you did. Although it's much better to have the series' creator behind the lens again.

The ultimate would be getting Cameron to do another one. No film of the series comes close to Aliens.
