These both look absurd, but for different reasons. PLOT: Following an ace assassin who is double crossed by gangsters and falls into the hands of rogue surgeon known as The Doctor who turns him into a woman. The hitman now a hitwoman sets out for revenge, aided by a nurse named Johnnie who also has secrets. PLOT: The rivalry between two former college friends comes to an extreme fracas when they both attend the same glamorous event.
Is it just me, or does The Great Wall look like it's going to be the biggest flop of 2017? The trailers don't pique my interest to see this at all.
I figured it was only produced for the Chinese market exclusively. It looks bad but couldnt be worse than Netflix's new Drew Barrymore show Santa Clarita Diet.
And with that in mind, they thought Whitey McAmerican, er Matt Damon, was the best choice for the lead?
The Chinese government has some weird rules on allowing western films in. My guess is the production was totally Chinese and had to cast a American to be considered western.
Isn't the end of this trailer like a big spoiler? Why didn't they keep that as a reveal in the movie? Also, I have not seen any of the X-men films, but Logan looks good to me. Will I be lost if I go see it without the back stories? ETA: I have seen Deadpool, which is X-men related, just none of the ones with X or Wolverine in the title.
Speaking of Ryan Reynolds...this movie can't get here fast enough. Oh, and do yourself a favor and read the "credits" at the end of the teaser.
This may end up being stupid, but I keep laughing at the trailers. That's probably because I have a stupid sense of humor, though.
I've read the comic books that this was based on, and am really hoping that the movie comes out as good as the trailers are making it look. I quite enjoy Luc Besson's movies, so I'm pretty optimistic:
i love Luc Besson's style. His use of colors makes for beautiful films. Here's another one that dropped today, the remake of Stephen King's IT.
Agreed. From The Big Blue, to La Femme Nikita, to 5th Element... all have been standouts. He's easily one of my top 5 favourite directors.
I thought the exact opposite after seeing that, although I liked the original Thor movie(haven't seen the others). The last part with the Hulk was pretty funny though.
I don't understand how Episode 7 can be so bad while Rogue One can be so good. It can't all be Abrams, can it? I'm really hoping Episode 8 is more like Rogue One.
I really hope that they do not try to "kill" all Jedi. I was a fan of the former canonical novels, and I think this could be a big mistake if this is the direction Disney goes.
