That’s seems more likely the case. Either way, Michael Keaton is back. With Vulture, Shicker and Scorpion being in the last film it seems they’re setting up a Sinister Six thing. THAT would be a cool spinoff. Like Suicide Squad only it hopefully won’t suck.
Just saw this and didn't think is was real. But apparently it's true, Jason Reitman is directing. We'll see if he's talented enough to pull off the same magic.
I kind of hope they break the 4th wall and say, “what the fuck was that?” then carry on like #2 never happened.
Do the Deadpool thing, and tidy shit up within seconds. I like that. This will take place in the “universe” of the original two films and have nothing to do with the reboot. Bill Murray has signed on.
I don't get the hate for 2. It's a solid sequel, didn't hit quite the high notes as the first but not a bad movie by any stretch. A fucking masterpiece next to the reboot. Outside of Christmas Vacation, which I think is better than the first, I don't know any comedy sequels that aren't absolute garbage. Caddy Shack 2? Zoolander and Anchorman sequels?
I really liked Anchorman 2, but you’re dead-on about Zoolander and Caddy Shack. The Naked Gun sequels aren’t as funny as the first, but they have lots of funny stuff. ....honestly I’m not as huge of a fan of Caddy Shack as most, to be honest. I don’t hate it, but a lot of people think it’s the funniest movie ever and I’m not one to agree. Dangerfield hijacked that film.
It’s the ultimate ode to old-school action. When the entertainment value was valued most. This series has style AND distance to it. Who here isn’t jealous of Keanu Reeves’ genetics? That guy in in his mid 50’s.
Listen. I, like the rest of the breathing creatures on earth, loved Thor: Ragnarok. So, yes, sign me up to pay money to see Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson on screen together again. I would watch anything where those two have almost, sort of, maybe, possibly, a little sexual chemistry. Also, I was 10 years old when the original MiB came out, and I’ll have you know that I quite enjoyed it. I, honest to god, have zero memory of any subsequent movies in the franchise though.
I think the first one is a fun, solid flick. But Josh Brolin is the only thing I liked but the others, they simply stopped trying.
